HVFD in Action

Flashover stage of a room. This was a controlled burn for the Firefighter I class in Lebanon. The flashover stage of a fire occurs when all items in a room simultaneously ignite. Some definitions pinpoint that flashover temperature is between 500 to 600 degrees Celsius or 932 to 1,112 degrees Fahrenheit, although flashover temperatures can peak at about 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
