    Exus is a two semester program for Mexican College students.  (Or really any college students who speak Spanish.)  The fall semester is spent on a ranch in the mountians of Chihuahua Mexico.  This time will provide an opportunity for intentional and directed spiritual growth away from the distractions of everyday life. (The nearest town is and hour and a half away.)  There are three main components to the program: Living Simply, spiritual formation classes, and extreme adventures.
     While our main focus will be the discipleship and spiritual growth of the students, my official title will be adventure leader and Karen will be helping teach ESL and coordinating social events.  We will also be finishing our Spanish study during this next semester. (Nothing like immersion, or so we're told!) 
     The spring semester of the course will be back in the city of Chihuahua with the same students, living out practically what we have been learning in the mountians.  This time will include various service projects, ministry to the poor and orphans, evangelism, and local chruch involvement.
