Ahem. Because Mike Dirnt is more than just an average bassist. The 2-2
instead of 7-7 I put there for ease of playing. Plus on the video it looks
like that's what they do anyways. If you listen closely (it helps if you
have 3D sound on your soundcard/home stereo for this) you can hear him do
that neato 8th note run. I think it's really cool. Kinda mysterious, hmm?
Well enough babble, here's the song

Intro - Rhy. Fig. 1
Verse 1 - w/ Rhy. Fig. 1
Hey mister, where you headed?
Are you in a hurry?
I need a lift to happy hour.
Say oh no.
Do you brake for distilled spirits?
I need a break as well.
The well that inebriates the guilt.
1, 2. 1, 2, 3, 4.
Interlude - Rhy. Fig. 1 w/ Rhy. Fill. 1 2nd time
Verse 2 - w/ Rhy. Fig. 1
Cold turkey's getting stale,
tonight I'm eating crow.
Fermented salmonella poison oak no.
There's a drought at the fountain of youth, and now I'm dehydrating.
My tongue is swelling up, as say 1, 2. 1, 2, 3, 4.
Pre-Chorus - Rhy. Fig. 1
Chorus - Rhy. Fig. 2
Troubled times, you know I can not lie.
I'm off the wagon and I'm hitchin' a ride.
Solo
Verse 1
Outro w/ background vocal: "Don't know where to go"
