Technique and strengthening

a) Aura expansion.

Imagine your head or body is surrounded in an aura of energy. It is like a warm field of static electricity. It may seem like the fuzzy feeling when your leg falls asleep, but not painful or even uncomfortable. It is warm and energized. You may want to imagine it is simply static mostly surrounding your head, same as ordinary static when you ruffle dry hair. Instead of just visualizing it, like you draw a scene or fantasy in your head, try to imagine you feel it there. More than just allowing yourself to be the viewer of a scene you construct in your head, you may want to feel this around you like it emanates from your mind or body. You are inside this aura and you need to imagine that you can feel it.

It does not have to be a perfect sphere or evenly distributed around your head and body. As you try to move it around you may very likely change its shape like it was soft clay.

Relax and try to feel it there. Remain relaxed. Now imagine you can affect it using your mind. Try to gently push it outward. It may weaken as you do this. Do not worry about it. Allow it to flow outward and diffuse as it goes. Just keep energizing, moving or inflating it from within your “mind.” Remain relaxed, and at least imagine you feel it get bigger and less intense.

It may seem to move at it's own rate, not exactly the speed you are imagining. Relax and allow that. Try to match your own idea of its speed with how it feels to you. Feel free to try moving the aura at different rates, very slow, easy does it or quick like a burst.

Let go of it when you honestly feel you have no idea or touch with the feeling. Just drop the thought. Repeat the process. Do this for a minute or two. Try a signal after several repetitions if you want to, relax and don't worry about it though.

b) Aura action.

Similar thing... as you diffuse or destroy the aura try to think a signal, or just after you have diffused it, think some action or communication. Anyway, the exercise is open aura, then act.

I have several visualizations for opening your (or someone else's) aura. First it is weak, being so tenuous, but somewhat solid like an eggshell. You plan to punch through it and peel it away like the shell from a boiled egg. It may seem to reform. Peel it away again, then immediately relax. Try to hold steady breathing and keep that state of mind right as you were finishing peeling it away.

Another visualization I use is that this aura is like a flower and you open it like the petals of a flower open, just done in a feeling picture with your mind. Another would be like peeling the peel from an orange in a long continuous motion. Another is that it is like paper and you lift it away and crumple it up. It crackles with energy as you do this. Shatter it like it is a Christmas tree ornament.

My last and what you should eventually get to through practice is just to vanish it or make it all of a sudden not there. Experience with your own and others auras/barriers will lead you to the ability to simply go right through like they were no longer there. I am hoping however that this work will give you a good handle to begin working with some of the ideas.

SWAPPING?

putting swapping as I can remember it too – switch between 2 exercises within a group or even separate (I forget what I was thinking exactly) do 1 first then relax then the other – swap between the 2 – try to relax while doing all so one may hit when you are not so serious – also/either maybe swap between different types/1 from diff groups or swap between 2 bridges

I used the word swapping again because I had come up with the idea and then forgot what I meant after just writing it down not filling in – I now have three ideas with the word – the first which I had forgot was to swap between two exercises of the same type (similar type – now, they may not have to be the same, but two you want to mix or work together or at the same “stage(?)” (period in time)) – the second would be to move from person to person sort of alternating who gets used as target and who “sends,” if one develops better/first this may help the second develop, relax, either better listening or sending of their own (the listening is they would get used to each other) – the third would be within the aura exercises, to swap the power-center you use say from head to heart, I personally use head mostly but I believe perhaps strangely in heart (vitality) and I do actually draw on the idea especially when trying to push or do something tk like (even though I have come to suspect this is straight from/through the head), or often something (empathy) I BELIEVE is vitality
