12312008 add: I had hoped to have a major posting ready by tonight... to the point where someone who was planning to rewrite me could see basically everything (even in brief) they would need to write a COMPLETE version of everything in the document. BUT, some new info has come up and I haven't exactly written everything down that I would like, so... feel free to START writing if you want to with what I have so far (I know everything's a mess, but you can start now.) You will just have to wait a little while longer for me to post everything that has come to me about this practice. Sorry to say it will be at least weeks more likely months from now before I can say I have put down everything I would like (at this point.) I have some people messing with my life and my work area and it is greatly slowing my efforts, so I hope that works out and I can get more done soon.

Some notes on opening... & additional comments

  1. Opening w/ flow.
    1. Relax.
      1. just relax briefly until you are in your "prepared to send" state - relaxed yet aware or alert.
      2. when you are relaxing to send or receive try not to over think or be too tight MENTALLY. In other words try to (also) relax your mind. (I say also because I believe some body relaxing techniques may also calm your mind.)
    2. Relay (fully.)
      1. go through the easy sending (relaying type) you have learned or are learning, even though you may have boot-strapped to be able to do that, this is where we use the flow recordings you should already have.
      2. I say fully because I want you to charge yourself up a little, and your aura, to disturb the aura to the point it will be weakened and/or noticeable.
      3. letting the charge fade, after you have gone through the relaying move, though it fades very quickly, will leave you in at least a partially "open" state.
    3. Maintain contact.
      1. I don't know if I really want to say "maintain contact" or word it some other way... what I mean is relax or remain relaxed and maintain the state that you have at this point entered into. By relaxing though I do not want you to lose the feel of how you should now be, more like "freeze!" right at this point and do the next item...
    4. Observe overall state.
      1. OK, you froze. Now without changing the situation, observe how you feel. This is the "open" state. Try to FEEL it. If you can feel the presence of others (perhaps including your relaying target if you had one) try to "see" them in the space you are now open to. Really you will have to FEEL them if they are near you in space, but it can be done like looking and feeling at the same time. You will not actually see anything. Try to relax and feel the empty charged space and any others you may notice as soft static-like, slightly moving blobs as well as how YOU feel while you are in this "open" state. Immediately proceed to one of the following...
    5. Practice opening self... OR
      1. Now that you have forced an open state, tried to learn to continue it, looked at it (the space) and looked around in it, try some opening moves to open yourself more than you already are. Realize that the open state from the flow relaying will probably fade faster than you may like. It may help to simply try relaxing after you relay and trying to hold that state. Sort of increasing your duration by practicing some smooth relaxation method.
      2. Do some self opening moves with your own aura. It may be slightly charged from use of the flow.
    6. Practice opening target.
      1. Similar to the previous, but you are going to try to open the aura around your practice target.
      2. They may be close to you in real physical space. (The same room or even the next.)
      3. Opening a target is where the best flow comes from. Feel free to record your target while opening them. They should relax and they may want to stroke the back of their neck.
  2. Opening self.
  3. Opening others.
  4. Opening exercises.
    1. I haven't written as much as I would like yet about any exercises concerned with opening or even the moves associated with opening. A bunch of aura stuff perhaps rewritten or filled out is about all I have for now. But I would like to make some comments... I believe I recently had the opportunity to work in tandem with another operator on some aura openings in sound recordings. This is what led me to comment that working in pairs seemed to be a highly effective way of learning this practice. The tandem openings were more powerful than my usual efforts, only occasionally on a good day could I do better alone. The other worker seemed very practiced and systematic in his approach. He was able to hold open for a longer period than I usually would bother. Working together, he would hold open like a wide pipe or donut pattern while I hacked away at the then thinned space in the middle and above with an imaginary sharp knife AND did some newer work I have of connecting the energy flow to the head(s) of the target(s) by forcing some of the energy (the actual flow energy and the aura) toward their head or forcing charged space to connect in a quick funnel by manipulating some of the remaining aura.

Ideas for opening using flow music... Relax, Relay (fully,) Maintain contact/observe overall state, Immediately practice opening self and/or target.

talk about opening moves and some appropriate exercises (how it feels, what they are looking for, what actions they need to do, what to expect...)

Opening - Aura/Moves...

Opening w/flow notes... FEEL it, do it again, remain relaxed...

  1. FIRST thing to do when opening is relax and kind of remain relaxed while doing the following...
  2. SECOND, feel the space around yourself as well as the target and the energy that is also there.
  3. THIRD, you may see the space and energy better if you play with it a little, stir it up or wave an imaginary blade around in it maybe in a circular motion overhead OR charge it in a push way.
  4. FOURTH, try to grasp or manipulate the energy in whatever pattern/way you have chosen.
    HERE make an outline of the ways you can manipulate the aura-like energy, include connect to head of target (it's pushy,) back and forth or around, etc.
  5. FIFTH, LET GO, OR do the following...
  6. FIFTH/SIXTH, hold on, hold steady (hold state.)

How atmosphere feels around opening.

flow has ended - charged thick space - feverish - maybe pulsing as you "see" it - slightly in motion - brown yet see through - "sparkly" - slightly charged like static - see or feel others within field.

"Touch" someone else through (within) field, picture: auras feel like blobs of clay made of soft static-like energy, electric fog.

Talking: out loud and silently (ideas on why each - both?)

swapping for amping

first try then easy for amping (over time)

opening stamina? - feeling the state? - maintaining state?

Talking with Flow (also Maintaining State.)

Relax, Talk in your head, [Relax quickly,] Relay or open, Talk some more, [Relax quickly and maintain state,] Keep talking while remaining relaxed and maintaining state.

after opening is achieved, keep repeating talking (POW word, or fun easy talk) then relaxing. (At that time FEEL IT then KEEP GOING.) For fun mix it up with POW word, funny talk (anything,) and song lyrics/chorus. Also try (probably later) Radio Codes. This repeated way of doing this may cause a sort of pulsing (relay, talk, relax...) Gain some confidence then relax (here I don't mean use a method I mean stop worrying about it.) That may help with the pulsing effect.

Some words: relaying is now the word for sending using a prompter or starter signal, reflecting is now the word for a similar effort say using a signal WHILE a receiving signal is also running, opening is the word for opening an aura to create signal (it also causes a signal that can be used at that time,) sending is the act of doing this whole process (starting with relaying or reflecting, later hopefully done by the sender without the need for starter signal,) I guess more later.

Note to self: think about coming up from using flow

Allow flow by pushing slightly from the body (heart) OR trying to relax some more as you "feel" a connection to your target (usually in front of you,) think of it flowing quickly and smoothly onto/into them (their head.)

You may not feel energized while actually sending, but there may still be a connection.

You will probably get dazed then take a second or two to "look for" your target then let it flow and try to hold that state (they will most likely seem to be a few feet in front of you in the center of the sound field - I have mostly worked in sound so far.)

Lately, musicians I have tried to work with have been trying to hide their charged reaction (feedback) by cutting receiver's tracks right as they begin to get charged (energized.) I believe if more friendly tapes could be used I could cut off instead by changing focus and get good amping that way OR build stronger signals by giving it a better second effort and holding for a few seconds more.

*** Here talk about amping an opening signal. Holding? Try to open further. Weakening? Relax and give it a second try, the connection may already be made.

Opening in tandem. Someone tries to hold maybe expand slowly and smoothly while the other opens more or keeps doing their moves/style/type/thing.

Amping by yourself. Often you will lose or let go of a connection, but if you do more than stroke, you may be able to amp by more opening or a second try. (*** AMP BY SECOND EFFORT.)(Better later or second effort.) Please think about leaving tape open. The space may already be open.

Hold "open" state (relax and stay in it, it will fade anyway - you can strike it up a little then hold again.) FEEL it (the space, others, your openness to it, any energy in the space.) At this level relax about trying to get everything and just feel it and try to "hold it there" or do it "like that."

Some workers may be saying words aloud while "talking." This is probably an attempt to amp their signal but I can tell you what is likely to happen - at best the receiver will FEEL the first part of their attempt, sort of a push of effort and you may have an acceptable bit wise signal from that. Also admit it, you are over thinking the process. So I haven't figured out what to do about this yet. I have a few (a couple at least) ideas to amp your abilities not so much each individual signal. That said let me caution you about the over thinking... RELAX your damn ego too. Give up trying to pull a fast one. Rather than "pushing" you should just kind of talk normally in your head but kind of at someone like you are talking to or with them. Don't try to shout. Right now it is probably a bad idea. Just do the opposite, try to just talk in your head confidently like you are talking to them out loud. Don't push.

Opening w/ Flow

opening w/ flow should not REQUIRE a large amount of aura work, rather relaying but (OR) should be done at the same time as early (learning) aura work (though you may feel free to do it your way.)

A bit of ice work, some stroking work, and some talking to yourself may all work together... AURA!, FLOW!, TALKING (maybe a bit later with talking.)

3 things: open w/ flow, aura, sound -> then time and amping... FOR OPENING W/ FLOW GO OVER RELAYING (see front page.)

Maintaining contact/observe overall state... RELAX. !FEEL IT! Them too -> FEEL Aura and SPACE. There will be energy still around (aura like energy) it will be thinner (less dense) after using flow method.

Note: at this point you can wave a knife around in the space, kind of drop it - disconnect and signal should come in immediately to the target (make some flow while you are at it?) FEEL that a little and you may improve your opening for raw flow. Other than disconnect you may feel some thicker energy that you can grasp or dissipate in other ways (vanish or manipulate outward and open like a pipe or a hemisphere or a donut.) Even pretend, grasping the energy may lead to other exercises (opening exercises) and FEELING it better. (Probably no, but TK? Not exactly like that so simply.)
