So here we are in the new year, 2002.
Are things looking up for us as a people? Or have they once again bellied up and turned for a downward spiral? I guess it all depends on what side of the street you live on. Why is that you ask? I don't know, it just sounded good going through my brain.
It has been an interesting year thus far and we are only 60 days in. We got Pakistan and India, two major world powers both posessing nuclear missiles standing off at their borders. Nobody is really sure if one of them will drop the big one, students that I have chatted to in India weren't even sure if it will happen.
There has been a kidnapping and murder of an American journalist in Pakistan in protest of prisoners of camp X-ray in Cuba. Closer to home, a little girl was taken from her home, brought to the desert and murdered. The neighbor, a 50 year old man is being held for the murder pending trial.
What the fuck is wrong with people? Is it not safe to go anywhere or even stay at home anymore? Just ask the settlers in Jerusalem. Palestines say it is their land and the Jews say it is their land. So they start killing and bombing each other, and still these dumb sons of bitches are moving into this area. Natural selection is the only answer I have, these people are too dumb to stay away from danger so "nature", or the "nature of man " is selecting to eliminate these people from our gene pool. (I guess that isn't too bad.)
Hey I have an idea, seeing as neither of you will budge on handing over the land. Why not divide it up eaqually and shut the fuck up, either that or hurry up and kill each other, I wouldn't mind one of those hillside houses.

In the U.S. there is now a big hulabaloo about racial profiling. People are against it saying it isn't fair to the innocent ones who fit that specific profile. Of course this is all stemming from the sept. 11 attack on the towers of the world trade center. So let me get this straight if I can. There is a large group of Muslums in the world who have trained to kill innocent people, they are prepared to come into my country and live as I do until the day comes that he must fulfill his task for his twisted beliefs of his own religion and murder as many people as he can. Does it not make sense to carefully screen every person that fits that profile? "We will lose our freedom if we allow it" some may say. I disagree. Watch the show Cops sometime, see how many times they harass someone who is of a minority for just hanging out and tell me there is no racial profiling already of residents and settlers in the west.

Hell, there is even some dude trying to ban dodge ball from our schools saying it hurts kids feelings and damages their fragile state of mind. Fuck you buddy, you want a future generation of pussies running your country, I think not. Let 'em get hit, let 'em get hurt. It's good for them, once they realise how much it didn't hurt it will make them all that much stronger. Try to fight a real battle chump, I wish I was that kid in elementary school that beaned you in the head and ruined your life.
