The next ones are of the Jeep being yellow. They were taken in late August or September of 99.
This is the only picture I can find of my first Jeep, when I first got it - looks almost normal, huh? -- Don't be fooled!! haha
And heres the lovely commando that held my attention for all of 2 months (if that) - Yeah, thats the hood chilling on the ground...I had to pry it off with that 7 foot pole leaning against the body...I don't miss that Commando very much, I must say :)
Check out the fly tire carrier though...gotta love that modern marvel of structural steel wastefulness (it made sense as I was saying it, I swear). Notice the strange location of where she lies in the pictures. Hall and I managed to drive her 35 miles or so from Waltham to Braintree but we left her at the local school til night time so I could sneak her into the yard without the folks noticing. As I was driving her down my street, she stalled right on the huge hill I live on which meant no steering and no brakes cause they're both power. In my absolute crazy state of horro I managed to turn her into the driveway and slow it down enough to stop on my lawn, just after the driveway - luckily she didn't roll into the woods. That thing was a piece from the beginning. I'd still love to get my hands on one thats in better condition.
