Been through so much from laughs to cries,
Had so many goals, had so many dreams,
But they'd change when they were not what they seemed,
I had so many thoughts, so many beliefs,
So many that that'd give me great grief.
Everything seems to change when you grow up,
Like a little duckling to a duck,
Given more rules, given responsibilities,
And sometimes being tested on your own abilities,
You learn from your mistakes,
And soon learn what's wrong, what's right,
And whats real and what's fake.
Even as you grow up and know these things,
Though it's like this, don't forget what it brings,
It can bring knowledge to our minds,
Without danger it shows us how to live life,
So don't think that everything is just a lie,
Everything happens for a reason,
And sometimes it might be because of this season.
So whenever something goes wrong,
Just remember to be strong,
And whenever you need someone by your side,
I'm always here for you, even when you need to cry,
Don't be blind as a bat,
Life is beautiful and don't forget that,
