Song Meaning
This song deals with the concept of someone taking on the burdens of another, so the other person is better off. It is about personal sacrifice for the betterment of another.
Interesting Note:
The title of this song was inspired by the Life of Agony concert at the Quest, in Minneapolis, that Ryan and Nate went to. Ryan came up with some of the riff ideas at this concert and had to remember them all through the show. Later on, Nate and Ryan worked on the song together. Ryan had the initial idea, but it was Nate that finished this song.
