Kaleidoscope Movement
Act I
(Dear God prayers consumed in a jar)
Perpetual time relishes comfort
as beauty fathoms age
love in one hand; hate in the other
boundaries contain no presence of fashion.

Act II
(With dirty hands I scratch my scars)
Kaleidoscope movement unfolds
its existance dashes away
broken heart; irrational cup
earth dissolves through sagicious appariation.

Act III
(Reflections of hope cast through each tear)
Capture each vertex
from stillness left ajar
yearning to extreme; diligent metamorphose
beyond solemn plight questing expiation.

Act IV
(Spirited change after all these years)
Ordinary threshold abrade
too intensely mannered sorrow
limits reclaimed; henceforth the journey
accomplishing existence in deep transformation.

Act V
(Yesterdays journey peaks into song)
Cultured poetic refinement
deprives this bended root
lucid rhythm; significant farewell
tomorrow bestows a whole new direction.

Final Act
(And as the curtain closes)
My memory is long.

Kaleidoscope Movement is a poem within a poem.  The first line of each stanza is the first poem, and the next four lines of each stanza is the explanation of the first poem.
Currently, this piece is being choreographed into a live dance interpretation.
How to read this poem: Begin by reading the first line of each stanza, and in the final act read both lines.  Then go back and read the next four lines of each stanza, ending with only the thought of the curtain closing - remembering that the memory is long, forgetting not, and instilling a very quiet movement of thought and exit.
