Wow! So much going on right now...so much to update!



Alex and I have finally purchased our own home. It's located at 272 Westmeadow Drive and it's a brand spanking new townhome which isn't quite finished yet. Our closing date is August 8/07  so we should be able to move in a day or two after that if all goes well! =D There are pictures posted on my facebook account as well as at my blogger site (sahltm.blogspot.com) so you can check it out.



Been some ups and downs so far, but that's to be expected right? I'm none too worried about it. On Tuesday we actually get to go and see the inside of our place! Woot woot. I'm going to take some pictures and post those as well. Exciting, exciting times!



Fids are doing alright. Still in the process of finding Sammie a new home and hoping to be able to do so BEFORE we move in August, but it's turning out to be quite difficult with the number of "serious" people leading me on for months and then suddenly dropping off the face of the earth! Ridiculous I tell you. You learn from your mistakes I guess, but if I would have just gone with the one lady he probably would have been able to go to her home soon or would even already be there. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Though she is likely the one who will get him (so long as she doesn't stop replying to me...) it will probably take a few months before he will be able to go home.



Anyways, that's about it for now. Just working on revamping the site a bit. Got rid of EVERYTHING that is/was Heavenly Feathers Aviary. =( Kind of sad, but I think it had to be done. Now I have a lot more room to create this new page all about my family! =)



Oh yes, last thing as well...we got a kitten last Sunday. His name is Alfie and he's a Silver & White Tabby. He is just a little doll, I absolutely LOVE him! He is my gift to Alex for our Anniversary. Then in 2 weeks I'll be bringing home my little Devon Rex girl.
