* Everyone has beauty but not everyone sees it. * All people smile in the same language. * Happiness is enhanced by others but does not depend upon others. * We take for granted the things that we should be giving thanks for. * Harsh words break no bones but they do break hearts. * It's important for parents to live the same things they teach. * You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying over the future. * The choice you make today will usually affect tomorrow. * Everyone needs to be loved - especially when they do not deserve it. * Take time to laugh, for it is the music of the soul * Thank God for what you have, trust God for what you need.

Stress Relievers: 1. Pray 2. Go to bed on time. 3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. 4. Say No, to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health. 5. Delegate tasks to capable others. 6. Simplify and unclutter your life. 7. Less is more. (Keep Mouth Shut.) This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble. 15. Do something for the Kid in You every day. 16. Carry a bible with you to read while waiting in line. 17. Get enough exercise. 18. Eat right. 19. Get organized so everything has its place. 20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life. 21. Write thoughts and inspirations down. 22. Everyday, find time to be alone. 23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until its time to go to bed to try and pray. 24. Make friends with Godly people. 25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand. 26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you Lord!" 27. Laugh. 28. Laugh some more! 29. Take your work seriously, but yourself not at all. 30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can). 31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most). 32. Sit on your ego. 33. Talk less; listen more. 34. Slow down. 35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe. 36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. ** GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU**

if you can't go to sleep my dear soul for tonight what do you think will happen if you pass your night and merge it with dawn for the sake of heart what do you think will happen if the entire world is covered with the blossoms you have labored to plant what do you think will happen if the elixir of life that has been hidden in the dark fills the desert and towns what do you think will happen if because of your generosity and love a few humans find their lives what do you think will happen if you pour an entire jar filled with joyous wine on the head of those already drunk what do you think will happen go my friend bestow your love even on your enemies if you touch their hearts what do you think will happen ~Rumi

When a man is busy in earnest, he is unconscious of his pain. I mention this insensibility to pain so you may know how much the body resembles a garment. Go, seek the one who wears it; don't kiss a piece of cloth. ~Rumi

Do not keep the alabaster box of your friendship sealed up until your friends are dead. Fill their lives with sweetness. Speak approving, cheering words while their ears can hear them, and while their hearts can be thrilled and made happier. The kind of things you mean to say when they are gone, say before they go. ~George W. Childs

Leave, O leave me to my sorrows Here I'll sit and fade away till I'm nothing but a spirit and I lose this form of clay. Then if chance along this forest any walk in pathless ways, thro' the gloom he'll see my shadow hear my voice upon the breeze. ~William Blake

When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it...always. ~Mahatma Ghandi
There is nothing to stop me, from getting lost, anywhere at all, if only I make a wish in my mind. So I open the wings of my song, I go beyond the stony wilderness of fairy tales, I lose my way and reach some far away place, where silence reigns. I get to know the "champa" flower in "parul" grove all in my own mind. There is nothing to stop me, from getting lost anywhere at all, when the wings of my songs are afloat. As the sun sets in the horizon, when masses of clouds look like flowers in the sky, I float away somewhere far off. And in my mind, I burst open the closed door, of a fairy tale home. ~Rabindranath Tagore
