My name is Tamika Johnson, and I am a Voluntary Registered Home Child Care Provider in Virginia Beach, Va. I am registered through the Planning Council. My husband Donald and I have 6 wonderful children (5 boys and 1 girl). I have always been around children. Since I was a little girl I liked to baby-sit the neighborhood children. Children have always been a part of my life.
I am a former Marine of 9 years. I was retired in April 2001. Since then I have completed the Certified Nursing Assisting course and have completed my degree as a Paralegal.
As a Family Child Care Provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for each child that will stimulate the multicultural, social, and emotional growth at their own pace. I offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual and in doing so, building self-esteem and respect for others.
