Yes you certainly can we have free wireless internet.
Are there restaurants close by?
Dorado has a lot of restaurants close by-some casual & some fancy. We have a Ponderosa, Pizza Hut, Subway, Burger King, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Churchs Chicken, KFC, Quiznos, Applebees. We have Italian, Mexican, Chinese, indoor and outdoor dining, seafood restaurants, and GREAT PUERTO RICAN food.
Are there grocery stores close?
We have two grocery stores close by and they are about five minutes away. There is Grande and Amigo
What is the weather like?
The weather is usually about 85 degrees everyday and during the evening it usually drops to about 75. Since our home is located right on the ocean with the windows open you get the beautiful trade winds and there is hardly any need for an air conditioner. However we do have air conditing if it would make your stay more comfortable. We just please ask that you turn it off before leaving the unit.
Do you have a big shopping center?
Plaza Las Americas is the largest mall in the Caribbean, and is located in the Hato Rey district. Anchor stores include JC Penney, Macy's, Sears and a Borders books store. More than 300 stores can be found at the Plaza, frequented by both locals and visitors. Among the restaurants featured in the mall are the Ponderosa Steakhouse, Chili's, and La Terraza food court, which has over 40 eateries. There are also 22 movie screens here, showing the latest releases.
What are some things to do in Puerto Rico?
Puerto Rico is considered the most interesting island of all the Caribbean. There are many tourist attractions such as the caves, El Yunque ( the rain forest), Old San Juan, the mountains, Bacardi Rum Factory, bio bays, world class golfing, casino action, island hopping, whale watching. Do I need a rental car?
Yes to stay at our home you do. Plus you would get to see all that Puerto Rico has to offer with one. I would suggest getting an entertainment book for discount car rental coupons. You can also try www.sidestep.com for a car at very reasonable prices.
When do we get our security back?
The day you depart our manager will inspect the unit and then I refund it with in a week.
Do you allow smoking?
No there is no easy way to get rid of the smell of smoke. If you smoke in our home you will lose the entire security deposit. Im sorry to be so strong on this but we had problem guests that did not think rules applied to them.
Where can we park?
We have parking for one car per unit.
When do you want the money?
An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required sixty (60) days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. Please make payments in the form of traveler�s checks, bank money orders, cashier�s checks or personal checks. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The balance of rent is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date.
Is there a cleaning fee?
Yes there is a one time cleaning fee of $60 dollars per unit. Payment for the cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
Why is the security deposit so high?
When you live so far away from a property this is the only way we feel to keep our property kept nicely. We want our home given back to us in the same condition as you arrived plus this is a protection for our future guests. If someone should damage our home before your arrival, it would take a long time to repair and that would ruin your vacation. So we are looking out for you and our future guests
