Lindsay disguises herself as Rae Cummings and tries to get into the hospital but there's one problem... Nora and Troy are there!
LINDSAY SPIES Nora: (Goes out into the balcony and takes a deep breath. Little does she know, Lindsay's on the same balcony, disguised as Rae Cummings!) Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know anyone else was out here. Beautiful night, isn't it? (Lindsay closes her eyes, knowing it's Nora.) Troy: (To Claire) Well, I'll be a whole lot more relieved when they finally catch lindsay, that's for sure. Claire: Oh, you haven't heard the latest. Apparently Lindsay and Allison were picked up by the police there. I'm sorry. I should have told you earlier. Troy: Wait a minute. Claire, are you -- claire: I thought you knew. Troy: Are you sure about this? Claire: Well, it was only an unconfirmed report, but how many pairs of escaped female convicts are running around pennsylvania? Troy: You have no idea -- that would be a huge relief for everyone. Nora: (To Lindsay) I'm sorry to bother you, doctor, but are you ok? (Next scene) (Jen comes in) Jen: Nora? Nora: Hi, jen. Jen: Do you know where my dad is? I can't find him anywhere. Nora: No, sweetie, i have no idea. What's the matter? Are you all right? Jen: I guess. It just -- I don't know -- with my mom with out there somewhere, you know? Nora: Ok. Jen: I mean, doesn't -- doesn't she know what this does to us? Doesn't she know that this upsets us? Nora: Sweetie, she'd never do it if she realized that. She loves you and will very much. That much I know. Jen: Sometimes I'm not so sure. Nora: Oh, she does. She'd never do anything to hurt the two of you. You know that. Jen: When she was in prison, she was safe. Now, who knows? What if she gets shot? Nora: Ok. She's not going to get shot, all right? The police are going to do everything they can to apprehend her without anything terrible happening. Jen: On the news they said she was a dangerous fugitive and that we had to use extreme caution. Nora: Ok, well, that's what -- that's a procedure that they use for prison breaks, ok? Your mother's not dangerous. Jen: How can you say that after what she did to you? Nora: That was different. That was personal, ok? She's -- she isn't -- jen: Violent? Insane? (Lindsay looks like she's about to cry) Nora: Ok, you need to calm down and relax and think good thoughts, ok? Jen: Ok, but when they find her, they're going to add to her sentence. She's going to be in prison forever. Nora: She's not going to be in prison forever. She's going to be in there a little bit longer than if she'd stayed put -- Jen: Why does she do this? Why doesn't she realize she's only making this worse for herself? Doesn't she ever just stop to think about dad or will or me? Nora: Ok, ok. (Next scene) Nora: Ok. Hey, let's go someplace where we have a little more privacy, ok? Jen: Yeah. (They walk into the hospital) Troy: Hey, Jen, what are you doing here? Claire: Oh, it's good to see you on your feet, ms.Rappaport. You had us pretty worried there for a while. Jen: Yeah, I'm fine now. Claire: Doctor says it's just minor smoke inhalation, but you should be right back to yourself in no time. Nora: Smoke inhalation? What happened? Jen: There was a fire at my dad's house. Nora: What? Jen: Yeah, I thought I could put it out, but the smoke just got to me. Al had to carry me out. Nora: What about your father? Is -- Jen: He wasn't in the house. I wasn't supposed to be, but I thought my mom might try to call me or something. Nora: Wow -- Troy: Jen, smoke inhalation is very, very serious. You sure you're ok? Jen: Yes. Thank you, though. Nora: Well, you definitely shouldn't be alone. You -- where's your father? Jen: I guess he's paying my bill. Nora: And cristian? Jen: He's here. He's here. He just went to see what was taking so long. Then we're going to go home. Claire: Why don't I see if i can't do something about that. Troy: Thanks, claire. Jen, you sure you're ok to go home? Jen: Yes, i'm fine. Nora: Well, I'll tell you what. Until -- until we find your mother, someone should be with you. Jen: Cristian will be back soon. Nora: You know, you're Matthew's sister. And if you ever want to talk or not talk or just sit around and watch some dumb movies, you can call me because I make good popcorn. I don't make anything else, but I make good popcorn. Jen: Mom and I used to do that a lot. Nora: Yeah, rachel and i used to do it, too. I miss it, so you'd actually be helping me out. Sweetie, i know your father and I aren't together, but i've always looked at you as a daughter, so -- oh. (Next scene) Lindsay: (To herself, seeing Nora is hugging Jen) It should be me holding you, not them. (Officer approaches her) Officer: Hold it right there, lady. Lindsay: I work here. I'm a therapist. Officer: You're not Rae Cummings. I saw you on the news. I know who you really are. (Next scene) Lindsay: I'm Rae Cummings. Officer: You're Gretel Cummings, and your privileges have been revoked. (Grabs her arm) Lindsay: Hey. Officer: Get off hospital property before I call the cops. And don't even think about coming back here. Scram! Jen: I guess I'd better go find Cristian. Nora: Yeah, and your dad. Troy: Jen, do me a favor -- don't be alone, though, ok? Jen: I won't. Thank you. Nora: Glad you're ok. Troy: Well, listen -- I got some good news for you. Nora: What? Troy: According to Claire, Lindsay was just apprehended outside of pittsburgh. Nora: Lindsay was caught? Troy: Apprehended, yes. (Claire comes in) Claire: Afraid not. Really, those unconfirmed reports were wrong. Lindsay and allison are still on the loose. Nora: Allison? Do you mean Allison Perkins? Claire: Oh. You didn't know? Nora: Troy? Claire: Lindsay and Allison escaped together, yes. Nora: Allison's dangerous. I mean, she's a complete crazy loon. I mean -- I've heard nothing but bad things about them and in the papers. Claire: Oh, sure. Everyone knows she's psychotic. Nora: If Lindsay and Allison are together -- Troy: Look -- listen to me, ok? It doesn't matter because I am not going to let you and matthew out of my sight. You hear me?
