TSW answer comprehension questions about the story. Procedure 2: a. TTW tell the students facts about the capybara and tapier. b. TSW tell what they have learned. c. TTW write the student�s answers on the board. Procedure 3: a. TTW give each student patterns of rainforest animals. b. TSW color and cut out the rainforest animals. c. TSW punch holes in the top of each animal. d. TSW lace a string through each hole. e. TSW tie their animals to a coat hanger or craft stick to make a mobile. f. TTW display the students work. Toucan and Dodo Pre-instructional: TSW sing �4 Layers of the Rainforest.� TSW sing �Three Talking Toucans.� Three talking toucans sitting in a tree The first one turned and squawked at me!
