I recently came across this book in the TCNJ library, as I was doing a paper on Phantom. I'd heard about it, and seen some of the photos scanned on the web, but had never read it.
I must admit that I wish I'd gone out in search of this book, instead of wasting my time fruitlessly questing after fan fiction. It's chock-full of facts and photos that are ten times better than fiction! I will eventually have to return this book to my college library, and I may go out and buy my own copy, it's such a treasure.
The book covers the Leroux novel, several Phantom films and plays, and the ALW musical. All in all, it's a great companion to any Phantom fan and I heartily recommend it.
