Defense Wardens in the Point |

What's the Point? |
In order to really understand the Fantasy Universe created by my sister and me, you have to know what the Point is. Basically, the Point is a place in space where many worlds, called Realms, exist. Two worlds orbit the Point: Cygma and Darwin and the primary inhabitants of Cygma use the lands in the Point as colonies.
The Point is not truly a planet of any kind. It can only be described as a spatial anomaly. It is spheroidal in shape, but with layers running through it horizontally. There are many levels in the Point, each with between two and sixteen islands on them. Since the Point is a sphere, the smallest levels are on the top and bottom and the largest is in the middle.
Because of the way the Realms are in the Point, there are six directions of traveling. A person can go north, south, east, west, up or down. You can travel from one level to another using vortexes. Each level has two: one going up and one going down. |

Who are the Defense Wardens? |
The Defense Wardens were started on Cygma as something of a police force. In different places in the Point, their duties have expanded beyond that of local law enforcement. The Defense Wardens of Equisetia are divided into several groups, each taking on a different role in law enforcement. One division is in charge of local law enforcement, another is in charge of federal crimes, another fugative apprehension, another national security, another for protection of the President and visiting dignitaries, etc. It's not unusual for a Warden at the local level to be promoted to the national level., if they do something especially noteworthy. |
