JD was born and raised in Upstate New York. His mother was a maid in one of the many small hotels throughout the Hudson River valley. He never knew his father and his mother never said anything about him.
JD joined the CIA directly from high school. The Agency quickly realized that, even without special training, Dunne was quite skilled in computer programming. They expanded on this knowledge and he quickly became one of the Agency most skilled electronics experts.
Only a year before the team was formed, JD�s mother died after a prolonged illness. The young man was devastated but threw himself into his work and pushed through the grief he was feeling.
Because of JD�s skills in working with computers and other electronics and because he learns new skills quite quickly, he was an ideal choice for the team. Chris was somewhat reluctant to allow him, but said he�d give him a chance at the insistence of Orin Travis.
JD often works closely with Buck and Ezra on either surveillance or intelligence analysis. JD lives in an apartment across the hall from Buck�s, which was supplied for him by the Agency. He spends a lot of time with Buck, but enjoys the company of all six members of the team. His codename comes from his expertese with computers. It is intended to be a computer reference (like bits and bytes). |
