Part 3
General Antilles watched the small 'white' ship with more than a little admiration. It was an organicship like the spider ships but it was much smaller and had less shielding than an "eyeball" (Tie fighter). There was no way that it should last more than a few seconds in a battle like this, but it was not only lasting, it was destroying the 'spider ships', 91 at last count.
"General we have an open channel with the small alien vessel." "Put it on holo." Maybe he could figure out how they were getting so close to the big ships.
"Alien vessel, this is General Wedge Antilles of the New Republic. Identify yourself."

Susan was more tired than she could ever remember being. She didn't really understand why. She had been in battle for hours in the past and had never felt like this. As she looked over at Marcus she realized that he was just as exhausted as she was.
".......General Wedge Antilles. Identify yourself."
"General this is Commander Susan Ivanova of Babylon 5, currently commanding the Whitestar. Do you have any telepaths with your fleet?" The holographic figure looked behind him and then answered. "No, but we do have two Jedi."
\What the hell is a Jedi?\ Susan thought to herself. "Let me speak to them please." Two disshelved men appeared. They looked like shit. "Can you two disrupt the human mind that is controlling the Shadow ships?"
"I think so," said the smaller brown haired man, dressed in what looked like some kind of flight suit.
"That is the only way that you can get in close to a Shadow ship," Susan told them.
----------------------------------------------
Corran thought over the plan as she gave it to him. It should work. He and Kyp walked over to the weapon consoles and began directing the weapon sergeants to what targets to lock onto. In a battle that had started out as a suicide mission this was the only answer.
The two Jedi soon found out that this new plan worked very well.
----------------------------------------------
"Whitestar, would you please dock with us? We need to discuss this battle." The voice coming over the comm station was easily identifiable as that of this General Antilles. The battle had ended so quickly that it almost seemed anticlimatic.
"Great! All I need now is an AAR," Susan said rubbing her temples trying to diffuse the throbbing of her migraine. Upon seeing Lyta's confused look she added, "After action review. We military types just love to stand around and brag about ourselves."
"Good, then not being a military type I'll get something for this headache and get some sleep," Marcus said.
"Oh no XO! You get to brag just like the rest of us," Susan said with a aquiline smile.
