How to be who youre not.

A moment, a blissful moment
In which the storm has calmed
A lonely girl looks at the out side world
From a place where she is safe and warm
With everyone judging her its hard not to retreat
Back into her solitude, a black hole of fate.
She wants to be loved
And accepted for her
But whenever she tries
She cant seem to surpass
The incisiveness that surrounds her
But she cannot understand
What is clear to everyone else.
Try not to do this
And dont do that
Be who your are not
Because they cant stand who You are
And yet thats a cop out
Because this girl doesnt even know
Where her life is going
How is this story going to go?
Is she as strong as they make her out to be?
But deep in side all she wants is to flee.
The bliss is gone now, she back alive
The pain comes searing in so hard
She thinks that she may die.
She will never be who they want her to be
And she will spend her whole life trying to be free
She hears their whispers and notices their stares
She knows what they are thinking
What they do not dare to say.
And with those dreadful thoughts, flowing back in
She goes back to her black hole, to start the cycle
Over again.
