We are an independent Theodish Leode located in Carrollton, KY.

Here is a bit of our history.

Torc formed Red Rune Kindred out of the remains of Dwarven River Kindred, originally formed in Ohio in late 2002 and disbanded in 2003. Torc and Carrie moved to Omaha and slowly began rebuilding the kindred.

In early December Torc met with Æsculf, an Anglo-Saxon heathen in the area, and the kindred reformed as Red Rune at which time Conchobar oathed into the kindred. With Yule not more than a few days off and no business is to happen over Yule, officially becoming a kindred was put off until February 5th 2006.

In November 2006 Torc and family relocated from Omaha to Carrollton, offically forming Hus Thunorson of Red Rune Kindred and functioned as Red Runes headman until August 2007 when he handed the Kindreds reigns over to a local leader. In the same month Hæþenhaga Leode was formed.

Hæþenhaga is Old English for Heathen Homestead and it's orgin stems from how each time Hus Thunorson has moved to a new area, it is void of any heathen community or presence. It has become a heathen homesteading to stake a claim and build from scratch.
