Super Suter Makes His Dinner

- last updated March 30th 2001

One day, Mr. Suter was in his kitchen, wondering what to make for the Sunday lunch. There were so many things to choose from: the fridge was full of different sorts of meat - lamb, chicken, pork and even a little bit of cold roast venison left over from last week. The place where he kept vegetables was full of lots of vegetables, so many that he couldn't cook all of them. He looked at all the options and put his head in his hands.

"Oh, no!" he moaned. "Whatever shall I do? I can't decide what to make for lunch!"

Then he had a brainwave. Yes! That was a really good idea! He would turn into his alter ego, Super Suter! He would know what to do.

Mr. Suter, being an intelligent sort of chap, didn't go in for all the stupid long rituals for turning into superheroes. His method for turning into Super Suter was pure and simple, or so hearsay has it (get it?! Wuh huh huh!). To turn into Super Suter, all Mr. Suter had to do was mark Owen Morton's latest English essay, and give it an A. And this he did.

"The power ...!" he cried, as he felt righteous energy surge through his body. "Yes ...!"

Finally, Super Suter was there in the kitchen, instead of Mr. Suter. He opened the fridge, decisively selected the lamb, chose a few vegetables, and cooked them for dinner. Then, he turned back into Mr. Suter and ate them.

The next day, he went to school and gave Owen Morton his essay back. Owen was very pleased with the mark. But Mr. Suter was even more pleased, because, due to Owen getting that mark, he'd been able to enjoy a superb Sunday roast the day before.

THE END
