Buffy - Season 7!

- last updated 9th January 2004

Lessons: A mindwrenchingly confusing episode in which not a lot happens. Basically, Willow is skulking about in England, while Buffy and Dawn mess about at the new Sunnydale High school, and a couple of zombies cause a bit of trouble.

Beneath You: Buffy begins her new job as counsellor at the new Sunnydale High, while Anya grants a wish and turns a girl's ex-boyfriend into a giant worm. In attempting to fight off the worm, Buffy realises that Spike has regained his soul, and is absolutely insane to boot.

Same Time, Same Place: This episode seemed quite good, as far as I could tell, but I was trying to watch it in Vanbrugh bar, and some very inconsiderate people had loud music on. I mean, who wants to listen to the Beatles when you can watch Buffy? I ask you.

Help: A boring episode about a girl called Cassie who knows she's going to die, and does so, despite Buffy's many many attempts to save her.

Selfless: Haven't seen it yet.

Him: Haven't seen it yet.

Conversations With Dead People: Haven't seen it yet.

Sleeper: Haven't seen it yet.

Never Leave Me: A pretty good episode which I saw about two weeks ago so I can't really remember it, but basically, Spike gets kidnapped by the First.

Bring On The Night: The First Evil, assuming various forms, tortures Spike, while Buffy attempts to take on the Supervampire. Failing, of course. Meanwhile, Giles returns to Sunnydale, bringing with him three Slayers-in-waiting, one of which manages to get killed immediately.

Showtime: While Anya and Giles embark on a quest to find out why the First Evil is only now manifesting itself, discovering that it is because of Buffy's resurrection, Buffy takes on the Supervampire and wins, thus acquiring a morale victory for the Slayers-in-waiting. As the episode ends, she rescues Spike from the First's lair.

Potential: Dawn is led to believe that she's one of the potential Slayers, but as it turns out, she's not.

The Killer In Me: Lots of things happen in one episode: Spike's chip starts to malfunction, and Buffy is forced to have the Initiative remove it; Willow kisses Kennedy, one of the potential Slayers, and as a result starts turning into Warren; Anya, Xander, Dawn and Andrew are led to suspect that Giles is in fact the First in disguise, but as it turns out, he's not.

First Date: Xander gets a date with a girl, who - predictably - turns out to be evil, and she attempts to use him to raise another Supervampire. Meanwhile, Buffy learns that Principal Wood is the son of a Slayer - one of the Slayers, in fact, that Spike killed.

Get It Done: Haven't seen it yet.

Storyteller: Haven't seen it yet.

Lies My Parents Told Me: Haven't seen it yet.

Dirty Girls: I was watching this one in Vanbrugh bar, and, predictably, just as it was getting good, some bastard put the jukebox on. Every single bloody time I try to watch something there, someone puts music on. Why can't they just understand that 8pm, Thursdays, is a no-go area music-wise?

Empty Places: Haven't seen it yet.

Touched: Haven't seen it yet.

End Of Days: Haven't seen it yet.

Chosen: Not having seen most of the lead-up episodes, it didn't really make sense, but basically, Spike explodes, taking the entirety of Sunnydale with him. And that's all, folks.
