| Hurray! The lovely head of Heath Ledger is back again in the cinema's after the great movie A Knight's Tale. The new movie is called Four Feathers, and will be in the cinema's this month. Who is your big example? Heath: Uhm I don't got one, but there's a person who is really great! Yes, I'm talkink about Mel Gibson! He's also from australia, and he lead the aussi assault on Hollywood. But he's so much more than that! We act together in the Patriot and Mel teached me a lot. By example how to relax. By big movies you get pushed because has to produce more than he cost. Mel teached me not to worry to much about that, he said thet you must have a great time on the set. Mel is a gentleman, a sweet man who takes care on friends. There aren't many people with his status who are so friendly. Do you think people from Hollywood aren't friendly? Heath: Uhm Yeah, I think they're. In Los Angels there are many people who can use you for your money or because your famous. In the world of Hollywood not everything goes by rules, let's keep it by that. And you live between that? Heath: Not always, I've got a home in LA, but I'm there 4 months in a year or something like that. The other months I spend in Australia or somewhere else recording a movie. And when I'm longer then 2 weeks in LA, I invite my Australian friends. On this moment, there is someone in my home, who takes care of my plants and my dog. Who is your best friend? Heath: I've got five good friends, but my best buddy is Trevor. We know each other from we were thirth and since then Trevor and I weren't longer then two months from each other. He lives in LA now, and is my personal assistent. I see him as my brother, when I finished hight school we jumped in a car and drove to Sydney. There I looked for a job as an actor. What did your parents think about that? Heath: Well they didn't liked it, but they didn't stopped me either, that suprised me because it's wasn't sure at all that I would find a job as a acteur. They probably thought that I could try it at least. They give me lots of cash money, which was very nice because I only had 96 cents on my bankaccount. What if you couldn't find a job as a actor? Heath: Then I would be tramping over the world, looking for a job. LOL! No.. uhm.. I don't know. I didn't study or something, but I like to work with children or work as a photographer, that's my hobby. Or teaching people how to surf! What is, next to acting self, the nicest about it? Heath: The travelling, I like to travel from place to place. I'm used to it, when my parents divorced, when I was ten, I was 2 weeks with my mom and 2 weeks with my dad, so I used to travel from place to place. So for you it isn't all about the glamour, the screaming girls and giving signatures away? Heath: Ow gosh NO!! And there aren't much screaming girls. That's because I change my hairstyle a lot, and they just don't regonize me. The last two years I'd my hear brown and blond and different styles. And for my next movie I have to shave my hair off, and no I don't like that! |
