Moving Views, A New York City Mover's Perspective
I wanted to share the hidden side of New York City Residential buildings.  Pristine lobbies are for residents and visitors.  Those of us in the various service industries see a very different facet of these buildings.  Rotting garbage piled on stairways that we are forced to walk through while we are carrying heavy furniture and boxes of our customers' belongings.
Although I'd like to see these conditions changed, I recognize that others aren't fortunate enough to even have a job. We in the service industry have obligations that don't permit us to just walk out on our jobs when the atmosphere is less than clean.
Open containers of toxic chemicals in  service areas are found all too frequently.

While the tenants and their guests are consorting with the concierge in the air conditioned lobby, we are subjected to air borne dust from construction debris, surpassed only by fetid vapors of decaying garbage.  Footing is tenuous on the stairs and floors of the service area due to cracked steps, and oily residues.
In the following days and weeks, I will be adding  locations as they are submitted. Any submissions would be greatly appreciated.
Imagine walking under these pipes, raining their noxious fluids on you.
This is not uncommon in the service areas of many buildings.
