If I could, I'd sing you a song,
and brew up some fine fancy tea...
My wish would be to sit and chat,
and spend precious time with thee.

I'd paint you a rainbow, to brighten your day,
and give you a hug or two...
And, before we depart, I'd give you some love,
to keep for days you are blue.

If I could, I'd make it so
we could visit each day without fuss...
With a hammer and and nails, I'd build us a bridge
then I'd shorten the miles between us.
