| This site is too small to list all the rules. We are currently in the process of writing a rule book. If you wish to know more about the game and the rules please email us. PCs, NPCs, and GMs The most important thing (other than safty) is to stay in characer at all times. Once you create a character you must take on the personality of that character while playing him\her. NPCs The character you create is called your Player Character (PC). However, throughout the course of the game you will be required to alternate between your PC, and a Non Player Character (NPC). NPCs are the building blocks that the Game Masters GM use to build their plots and play the monsters that the PCs will face. When a GM gives you a role as an NPC you MUST say and do what he says. If you feel uncomfortable with a role you are given let the GM know and he will give you a new role. Game Masters are like the referee, if there is ever a dispute between players the GM's call stands. They are the ones who make the plots inorder to make the game fun, treet them with respect. Players who follow the rules, role play well, and respect the GMs will be treated with respect and will have more plots thrown their way. BASICS OF COMBAT Much of the game is centered around combat. Any player who has a combat role will have a weapon made from foam, we call these weapons boffers. Players are not allowed to fight if they do not have a suitable weapon. Each player has a set number of hit points (HP) and damege (D). When one player strikes another he is required to call out his damege number. The player who recieves the blow must then subtract it from his HP. Once a players HP goes past 0 he must take a mortal wound. A mortal wound causes the player to go unconcios, and if he is not healed within five minutes he will die. If you take a hit on a limb that causes your HP to go below 0 you loose that limb rather than a mortal wound. (Example) if an elf swings for 2 D and he hits a goblin with 1 HP in the chest the goblin will receive a mortal wound. If however the stroke were to hit his leg, he would be required to limp around on his one good leg. If it hit his arm he would not be able to use it until healed. If the elf were swinging for 1 D and hit a goblin with 1 HP then it would bring the goblin down to 0 HP. This doesnt cause the goblin to take a wound, the elf must strike him again in order to inflict a wound. (Note) if a player takes a wound to a limb and then gets hit on the same limb again then it counts as a mortal wound. Some players will use magic when they fight rather than fight with weapons. Players represent their magical attacks with a blue tag bag and calls out the effects. If you are hit with a tag bag you are required to take on the effects of the spell. Some spells deal damage, others will alter your stats or even take over your mind. |
