RADIATION TESTING
Radiation testing not only included nuclear bomb tests, but also radioactive dust spread by cluster bombs, smoke generators and airplane drops. Eight tests simulating intentional meltdowns of nuclear reactors also occurred in Utah. When the winds out of Nevada blew toward Utah, the nuclear testing began.

Aug. 5 - 39 Curies
Aug. 10 - 28 Curies
Sept. 8 - 27 Curies
Sept. 12 - 27 Curies
Sept. 18 - 26 Curies
Sept. 30 - 32 Curies
Oct. 23 - 18 Curies
Oct. 25 - 19 Curies
Summarizing, in three months, --- 210.57 Curies --- were released here in Utah.
