Notes for JERRY FRANCISCO:
In 1966, Jerry was out cutting wood and a tree fell on him. It took two days to find him. He lost most of his vision from that accident, and could only see out of the corner of one eye. He was quite a jokester, and even though he was legally blind, managed to get a drivers license; until the authorities realized he was blind. Jerry, in his later years, owned vending machines and stocked them for a living. He lived in Kalamazoo until his death in 1984 from lung cancer. Jeff Francisco, his youngest brother, lived with him and took care of him during his illness until he passed away. It was shortly after the tree accident that Jerry and Alice were divorced. A few years later, Jerry married Jean Reinink Gaugish. He had a step-daughter, Kathy Gaugish. Jerry and Jean were divorced, and I lost track of where Jean and Kathy went. Have heart that after living near Kalamazoo for a while, Jean has moved back to Lake City.

Jerry Francisco is buried near his mother, Margaret (Reinink) Francisco in the Prosper Cemetery, 6-13-NE quarter, Missaukee County, MI.

Erwin died 2 Dec 1958. Judy married (2) EDGAR WESLEY HARRIS on 1 April 1961. Edgar was born 31 Dec 1939, and was the son of ROBERT WESLEY HARRIS and EDNA LEONA RAYMENT. Notes for ERWIN KREGEAR:
Erwin died when Doug was only 8 months old. He had previously had a head injury that required stitches. Instead of going back to the doctor for a checkup and stitch removal, he had his barber remove the stitches. Erwin had been having blackouts and dizziness and never told anyone. He was driving a logging truck and blacked out. The truck went over an overpass and he was killed instantly. The funeral was the largest Mom (Judy) had ever seen. People had to stand outside, as the funeral home was filled to capacity. Erwin is buried in Aetna Cemetery, Missaukee County, MI.
