we know how
to listen, we should have heard God speaking to us - - in the Scriptures, in the depth
of our hearts, and in every moment of our lives. But when our faith has not taken root
and we are so preoccupied with our own lives, where can God’s voice be heard?
Jesus
Christ is approaching us. Listen
attentively to what He is going to say to us:
“Get up!” “I am not free.” “How much?” “Congratulations!”
“The car has arrived!” “Good morning.” “I am sorry.” “Help!”
“Ding
Ding.” “Where are you going?” “Thank
you!”
“Ha Ha.”
If
we know how to look at life, we will discover that in fact nothing in this
world is ordinary thing. If we are
following Christ, we need to look at the world through Christ’s eyes.
Behold
peace in armed conflicts,
forgiveness in
hatred,
life
in death ...
If
we examine carefully, we will realize that this world for sure is not an
obstacle for us. Rather, it is an
unending encouragement, exhorting us to work with our Heavenly Father. We should pray to God for attainment
of
perfection in His Kingdom and for the gift of eyes of wisdom so that
we would
know how to look at life.
Our
Heavenly Father gives us life. He
does not ask us to complete this earthly journey with our eyes shut. Instead, He asks us to find Him through
different people, different places, different events and different things, and
to uncover, through His eyes, the abundance of His love in this world. Then we will be able to smile with even
the smallest event of our daily lives..
If
we know how to listen,
If we know how to look at life,
our life
will become a prayer, and our entire being will become an unspoken hymn of
praise to God, and just when every part of our life is willingly consecrated to
God, our entire life is slowly unfolding before His eyes.
Dear
friends,
may this
evening’s songs uplift your heart,
may your
praises of thanksgiving reach heaven;
and may your
prayers receive God’s hearing and blessing
with His
infinite mercy and love for you.
如果我們懂得如何聆聽，我們該聽到上主在說話-----在聖經裹，在我們內心深處，在我們生命的每一剎那中。 但我們的信仰沒有根基，生活又如此勞碌，上主的聲音何在？
基督在向我們移近，請留心靜聽，他要說的是甚麼：
「起來！」 「沒有空。」 「多少錢？」 「恭喜！」
「車來了！」「早晨。」 「對不起。」 「救命呀！」
「叮叮。」 「去那裹？」 「多謝！」 「哈哈。」
如果我們知道如何去看生命， 我們將會發現世上沒有什麼是平凡的。 如果我們跟隨基督，就應以基督的眼光來看世界。
看看戰爭下的和平，
憎恨裡的寬恕，
死亡中的生命 ...
只要我們細心明察，這世界決不是一種障礙，而是一種不斷的鼓勵，鼓勵我們偕同天父一起工作。我們當祈求上主，使衪的王國臻於圓滿；賦予慧眼，俾能知道如何去看生命。
天父將我們放在世上，並沒有要求我們閉着眼，去走完這段路程，卻要我們透過各種人，地，事，物去尋找衪，並以衪的眼光去發掘出那遍佈大地的愛的踪跡。 這樣，我們該在日常生活的最小細節上，對衪微笑。
如果我們懂得如何聆聽，
如果我們知道如何去看生命，
我們的一生將是一首禱文，整個生命也成為對上主不可言喻的讚嘆；
因為生命的每一部份都自由地奉獻給衪，而我們的一生卻在衪眼底徐徐地展開。
