Weight: Mikey says not enough!
Favorite Color: Green
Weapons: Kunai. Sunshine taught me how to use his sais, but I'd rather use my claws. I became quite skilled with whips when I played the role of the villainess Whiplash, on Candy: Ninja in the Night. I'd still rather use my claws.
Hobbies: Rooftop wrestling! >_>
Favorite Music: I'm entranced by the flute...unfortunately.
Nicknames: Freak. It's a term of endearment really. Oh, and Raphael calls me crazy. Does that count? I know this is supposed to be about MY nicknames, but while we're on the subject, I really dislike "Raph". BLECH! I have to force myself to even say it! It's like I need a lozenge or something!

Danger Sense A character with Danger Sense can become aware of imminent danger.
When in a situation where some person, item, or presence poses an immediate threat, make a Danger Sense FEAT roll which
warns up to power rank second before danger. FEAT intensity is determined below:
Critical Threat (superior foe, imminent death) = Typical
Major Threat (equal foe, imminent serious damage) = Excellent
Minor Threat (lesser foe, imminent minor damage) = Incredible
If the Danger Sense FEAT is successful, the character becomes aware of the
threat and will not be surprised the turn it actually occurs.
In combat, Danger Sense power rank can substitute for
Intuition for surprise and initiative, Fighting for blocking Agility for
dodging Strength for escaping.
Minimum rank is equal to Intuition.
Empathy IN Detect surface emotions or send empathic messages
Photographic Reflexes Good 10 The PC can perform any action he/she has seen at Power rank.
All FEATS requiring Agility or Fighting done in the presence of the PC, are
recorded and photographically etched into his/her mind.
The PC must make a Power FEAT first, and then he /she can perform those
same FEATS without expenditure of Karma.
The PC however, must study the target for 3 rounds. The target when
confronted by the PC receives a special ill fortune of dropping his/her Fighting and
Agility to a -2CS. The PC also retains the same Talents that the victim has.
Sensory Link Amazing 50 See/hear etc. through another being. (The Rat King/Raphael)
TALENTS
Martial Arts A Those arts concentrating on utilizing the strength, size, and momentum of an opponent against him
With a successful Skill roll, the PC can ignore any size or strength effects that would normally negatively affect his ability to slam, throw, or avoid the enemy,
the degree to which he can ignore these modifiers being directly related to his level of martial arts skill.
Martial Arts C This form of martial arts concentrates on holds and escapes.
The practitioner of this form gains a + 1CS to his Strength for Grappling attacks (including damage), a + 1CS to Strength for Escaping
and a +1CS to Agility for purposes of Dodging.
Martial Arts E Those martial arts concentrating on fakes, range control, and trapping techniques. Concerned with timing and eccentric theories
A successful evasion of an attack by this PC puts the PC in a more advantageous position to attack; any effect he wishes to generate
may then be attempted with a positive bonus directly related to his level of martial arts skill.
Martial Arts M This Talent focuses on fighting,
for the purpose of evading. Allow a +1cs column shift
to fighting for determining the effects of evasion
only.
Martial Arts P This martial art concentrates on working with teammates and soldiers and was demonstrated on the battle field of the ancient orient.
A character with this talent does not need to make an agility check if he is the weaker attacker in a combined attack. (Which would be like...always ~_~)
Nor would his partner need an agility feat if he/she is the weaker attacker.
Wrestling: The hero with this Talent is proficient in applying holds.
It includes familiar types of wrestling as well as the sumo forms of the art. The hero with this
Talent gains a +2CS when making Grappling attacks, but gains no benefit in damage.
A hero with Martial Arts B and this Talent gains a +3CS to hit in a Grappling attack, and a + 1CS for damage. (??? Maybe they mean C?)
Intimidation (Feral Rattitude)
A character with this knows how to inspire fear in an opponent either through the use threats, brute strength, or imposing
size and gains a +1CS to Intimidation. (Yes...because we all know those are the methods most rats use.)
Stealth is an Intuition based talent. It gives +1cs to intuition and requires others to make an Intuition Feat at the intensity of the
stealthy character's modified intuition in order to spot the character. Any movement requires additional Stealth FEAT's, or the watchers get another
roll to detect the character. Detective/Espionage DOES give a bonus to spotting Stealthy characters.
Dodging +1CS to dodging
Gymnastics Enables a character to perform flips, rolls , etc, and also allows a character to juggle.
This skill will readily impress a crowd and increase the popularity of the hero +2 every time he works it into a battle where popularity is available. (These bonuses can be a bad thing, drawing too much attention.)
Acrobatics The hero with this Talent is very limber and as such gains advantages when under attack.
The hero has a +1CS when dodging, evading, and escaping.
Tumbling The hero with this Talent knows how to fall and land without undue injury. Individuals with this
Talent may make an Agility FEAT to land feet-first after any fall that does not inflict damage.
Actor: This gives the ability to be used to disguise a character. An actor recieves a +1cs to all disguise attempts and opponents recieve a -1CSs
to seeing through the disguise (Or not. See weaknesses.)
Artist The character with an artist background creates works of art, either for himself or for sale to others. This includes painting, sculpting, and writing.
Escape Artist +1CS to strength in trying to escape holds or bonds.
Performer The character is someone who acts, sings, dances, mimes, or otherwise uses his Talents to entertain.
Student Similair to Heir to fortune, this talent may only be chosen at the start of play.
The student character has no other initial talents, but may gain other talents at a discounted price.
New talents cost 1000 karma points if learned from another player, 800 if learned from an outside source.
Students may maintain Advancement totals for a Talent along with other forms of advancement funds.
Cooking/sewing
WEAPONS
Weapons Specialist (Whips) Character gains +2CS with a single weapon of choice.
Character also recieves a +1CS to initiative when using that weapon.
Bows With this talent gain a +1CS, and may fire and reload in a single round.
They may fire multiple arrows on a successful Agility FEAT. Without this talent -1CS to Agility to hit when using bows
Thrown Objects The hero with this Talent gains a +1CS with all Throwing attacks, and +1CS on Catching.
This applies to both thrown weapons and normal items. If the hero has the Thrown Weapons Talent as well, the modification is +2CS
when using thrown weapons.
Thrown Weapons +1CS to Agility for Spears, disks, shurikens, snowballs, etc.
Swimming
CONTACTS
Ninja Turtles
Splinter
April O'Neil
Casey Jones
Leatherhead
The Rat King?
STRENGTHS
Omnidexterity: similar to ambidexterity, omnidexterity allows a character to use all of his extremities as well as he could his normal action limb.
If this is physically improbable (firing guns effectively with feet, per se), there is still a -1 CS applied to the action.
This quirk costs a player two quirk points. Though expensive, it can come in handy, especially if the character has more than one set of arms, legs, tentacles, etc...
Quick Learning: the character is a quick learner. In game terms, he can acquire new talents at half the normal rate, and at 75 %
of the original cost. This also applies to powers that are learned talent-equivalents, such as magic spells...
WEAKNESSES
Signifigant Others (Splinter/Turtles/Casey/Leatherhead/The Rat King)
Loyal to a fault
Honesty: the character is honest. Normally, this is a good thing, but is counted as a negative quirk as it prevents the character from lying, if necessary.
In order to tell a lie, or even stretch the truth, the honest character must pass a Psyche FEAT roll at -1 CS. *
Guardian: Your hero desires to protect beloved
persons or places. Threats to those loved ones trigger the strongest responses in this individual.
Outcast: Your hero is hated or feared for some quality, possibly a mutant power or a past allegiance.
He or she may want to be left alone, or will only ally with those who are free of the bias.
Cult-fame: There is a possibility people on the street may reconize her voice from television if they were fans. Ava has a british accent which makes this an even bigger danger.
This completely cancells out any of the bonus advantages the ACTOR talent would have given her.
Bad reputaion (rat)
Easily distracted. (Ava really has to try to focus.)
intolerance (Against most members of her former species.)
Nightmares
Rage. (Raph and Casey told Ava she has anger issues...so I think that makes it as official as it gets. Though not uncontrollable, it sometimes takes a great deal of effort to keep this from overriding common sense, or keep her from doing damage to herself.
Even when she's lost her temper, Ava will not attack allies with intent to harm.)
Enthralled. (Yes...to The Rat King...as she is a rat. Extreme situations could trigger a return to her senses. ie: drawing blood from a signifigant other, injury to herself, hockey stick to the head >.<)
BELOW IS THE RATHER LENGTHY REAL LIFE AND MAIN CONTINUITY EXPLANATION FOR AVA
I created the character that would be Ava back in 1993. I was 14, and very much a Donatello fangirl. I'd already been "roleplaying" most of my life. My friends and I would get together, and pretend we were our favorite cartoon characters, for as long as I can even remember. We'd even make up our own. Not much has changed really.
I found a bulletin board TMNT rp, and rushed to join it. It was probably my first attempt on organized roleplaying. Back then, I really wanted to be a female character, but April was taken. I never did like Mona Lisa, or Lotus Blossom, and Kala lives in Dimension X. Nobody was cruel enough to force me into playing Irma, and I ended up being the only one allowed to make up my own character. I was excited out of my little mind, but I hadn't planned on this. In honesty, I was assuming I would be the only girl turtle fan around as usual, and thus assumed I would end up being April.
My character would just HAVE to be both the cliche whip-toting, bad girl type, and also the nerdy type...because these were commonly my favorite characters in any show.
Being the 14 year old goth chick I was, I thought the name Reza was cool. It meant reaper. This was the entire basis for the name I chose. Naturally, Reza was completely in love with Donatello. Nobody had a problem with this...least of all the guy playing him.
I really didn't want her to be human. She was almost a cat, but since we had someone regularly playing The Rat King, I figured...why not a rat? I loved Master Splinter, and of course rats are awesome. I wanted Reza to be a different color than Splinter, who was brown at the time. She wasn't mutated from a pet rat, nothing cutesy. That didn't give me many colors to work with. I didn't want her to be black, because her outfit was black, and it just seemed to be a real pain when I would break out my colored pencils, and try to draw her. I made her a light grey...so much for being a different color than Splinter now huh?
Reza's origins were rushed, lame, and didn't make much sense. She was the school geek, kept to herself, never had any friends. Very close to my own origins... >.> While freeing a rat from a trap in an alleyway, she was grabbed by Bebop and Rocksteady as a random hostage. They used her to escape the turtles, and then tied her up over a vat of mutagen in a warehouse to get their attention. Makes a lot of sense huh? In the fight that ensued, the rope was cut, and Reza climbed out of the vat a humanoid rat...so the turtles took her home.
It was after she began her training that she began to take on more of the bad girl, dominatrix thing. There's not much more to tell. She got involved with Donatello, and was frequently abducted by an amorous Rat King. The whole thing only lasted a couple months, and thinking back on it really makes me appreciate how much I've developed my rp skills. Because I sucked...really very much bad back then.
When the household was looking for a new tabletop game to play, some ideas were thrown out. Being the ninja turtle fan I am, I suggested it jokingly, thinking nobody would like the idea. Much to my surprise, everyone LOVED the idea. (There were four of us playing when we started. Now there are two of us.)
We decided it would be an amalgam of the TMNT universes we were familiar with...the 80's cartoon series, and movies 1, and 2. We'd barely seen any of the newer 2k3 series, although now that we've seen a bit more of it, and of Fast Forward, I feel quite confident in praising my best friend, roomate, and Game Master for her excellent work in bringing the characters to life in a whole new, and yet still true way.
One of my biggest fears in roleplaying with someone new, comes from my Mary Sue Syndrome. (I'm a sucker for romance, but believe me I don't bitch, and whine when I don't get my way. My characters aren't perfect, or invincible either. My Mary Sue Syndrome comes from my relationships, and relations of cannon characters.)I'm always afraid that if my character gets personally involved with a cannon character I'm quite fond of, that it will change the way the character acts. I realize that with every new encounter, and experience there will be some changes, but I just hate it when the entire concept of a character is shoved aside to cater to someone's mushy crap. I know with her, that'll never happen ^_^.
When we decided, I immediately thought of Reza...then I realized how very lame her concept was. I made up my mind to pay her suitable tribute, since she was my TMNT fan character, and no matter how lame, I still kinda wanted to show her off a bit.
Since this was going to be a spoken game, I decided I wanted to do an accent. I hadn't played one outloud before, and I thought that could be fun. I went with british, just because it was still something a little different, and it's fairly easy for me to do. I occasionally slide into it by accident, due to the influence of Eddie Izzard, and a few british friends.
The name Reza had to go. I thought, and debated what her new name would be, and finally went with Ava in memory of one of the sweetest pet rats I've ever had. I even kept my Ava's middle name Honey. It was a bit cutesy for what I was going for, but I didn't think her middle name would be brought up for much more than embarassment, and that was quite embarassing enough. Collier just sounded suitably british, and it flowed nicely with Ava. I had a name.
I needed a major flaw, and for whatever reason I was having trouble with this one.I had to think of a new motivation for getting her into this story. I still liked the idea of the hostage situation, but I wanted to give Bebop and Rocksteady a bit more motive. All at once, I realized how I could pay tribute to the character she once was, and explain a few other things as well. She would be an actress, playing a bad girl villain type on a television show. Her major flaw is honesty. In the business she worked in, there was so much dishonesty she really hated it. They changed her hair color, portrayed her as someone she was not, even off camera, and even changed her name to Reza. All to make her seem like the bad girl she really wasn't.
Bebop and Rocksteady, impressed with this character, and as dumb as they are would try and get her to help them defeat the turtles. Ultimately, she would deny being anything but an acrtess, and still end up dangling over a vat of mutagen in an abandoned warehouse. She was going to help them get those turtles one way or another! Well, my GM put her in a cage...I wasn't expecting that. In my original version, my character was just tied up and dangling. It made it a lot easier for me to visualize her survival. the cage raised a few questions in my head as we got the game going. I wondered how my GM was going to get her out of the cage when it fell, but I trust her with things like this.
I still hadn't figured out the rat part by this point, and was beginning to worry. I had hoped I would find some tidbit of inspiration, but Ms. GM was rushing to get all the characters together. A laser blast hit the chain holding the cage up! Mikey grabbed the chain, trying not to let the cage fall, but it was swinging. A laser blaster was being aimed at Michelangelo! Calling out a warning to one of the strange creatures rescuing her, Ava gave Mikey a chance to dodge the laser blast, but the chain slipped from his grasp!
Ava fainted during the fall. The cage hit the side of the vat, and broke, splashing her with just a little bit of Mutagen. She'd have fallen in too, if Raphael hadn't rushed to her rescue. With no hostage, no upper hand, and no way to win, two very dumb mutants retreated, leaving four rather confused mutants with an unconscious, mutagen slimed, and scantily clad teenage girl. My GM, saving the day once again, had a fleeing rat scurry across her legs, and Ava mutated, a-la Splinter-Yoshi style.
Naturally, Ava woke up screaming. It's mandatory. Now she'd seen the turtles in the warehouse, so why was she screaming? She definately thought that was not real. It was a dream, a publicity stunt, a lie of some kind. It was impossible for what happened there to be real. We all know what happens next right? She's almost calm...almost...until she spots Master Splinter. "You're a rat!" He gets that a lot of course. Now, Ava didn't dislike rats, she just wasn't used to seeing them kimono clad, and bringing her tea. "So are you." Splinter replied softly, not denying himself a slight smirk this time. After Ava got over the fact that she has a tail, she quickly found the bright side of her new situation.
While Reza was always with Don, and didn't really bond with the others, Ava has become a member of the family. Like the boys represent different sides of Master Splinter, Ava has come to represent different sides of the boys.
At first Leo, and Donny avoided her a bit. They weren't used to having a full-time female on board, and it seemed like Ava was just taking over. ESPECIALLY with the cooking, and cleaning. Normally they wouldn't have minded not having to clean, but this female invading their space didn't seem to know trash from treasure. They'd already had to move to a new lair to accomodate a new housemate. (From the old cartoon lair, to the subway station. The station was beautiful, wasn't it?) What Ava was actually doing, was trying a bit too hard to repay her heroes.
After living with them a while, Ava began to fancy Donatello. I wasn't sure where this was going to go. There were deeper reasons for her taking a shine to him than I may have mentioned before. Ava shares a gentleness with Donny, and a deep curiousity. This version of Donatello is heavily based on the 80's cartoon series, though other influences become obvious once you get to know him. This Don was too wrapped up in his work to notice Ava's subtle flirting, or maybe he was pretending not to notice. When she later confessed to being rather fond of one of them, Donatello was dissappointed to find out it wasn't him. There's a strange tension between them, although that seems to have brought them closer together. Ava may tease Donatello, but she has a lot of faith in his inventions, and she really admires his mind. She's not the scientific genius Reza was, but she was able to build a robot using one of Donny's designs. Ava will always have a soft spot for Donatello, and tends to baby him. Part of this comes from the guilt she'll always feel for hurting him, and the other part is her wanting him to socialize more. Ava and Donnie share an attraction which stirs jealousy in Raphael. While they'll probably never see each other as brother, and sister they do see each other as family. They know it probably wouldn't have worked...not in this world anyway.
"Raph? Why Raph? I...I kinda thought it was...me..."
"If I only felt like I was getting to know you...but I didn't think you had any interest in me."
A good song to describe their relationship, would be "Sweetness" Jimmy Eat World.
Raphael was the turtle Ava was actually referring to. He, and Michelangelo didn't avoid Ava at all. This Raph is heavily based on the first movie Raphael, and ended up being eerily like 2k3 Raph, despite our limited knowledge. Raphael was the first of the boys to form a solid bond with Ava. While he longed for freedom, Ava had found it. Ava was happy, and free to be herself. While she understands Raphael's rage, and desires, she's quick to remind him of the things he has, that a lot of shallow humans will never have. Raph was surprised to find out how Ava felt about him. Appearantly he hadn't noticed he forgot to be an asshole to her. Or did he? The sewerhold was very tense for about a week while young people got a hold on things. *cough* Leonardo, Donatello...AND Raphael hadn't a CLUE why Ava was interested in Raph. Mikey, and Master Splinter seemed to not only understand, but encourage them. Ava and Raphael have bonded completely. Ava was able to see through Raphael's eyes, a battle she was not present for. Also, (Good)Raph was able to call Ava into his mind when his personality was split into two parts, to ask for help in dealing with (Bad) Raph. When Raphael was controlled by Baxter's mind control helmet, he managed to fight it off, and sever the helmet, severely damaging himself to avoid killing Ava.
"Oww what was dat for?"
"You are an idiot. I am happy...with you."
"Yer always...mopin'."
"Yeah well...it's been a pretty rough...month."
"Yeah..."
"Well what about you?"
"What about me what?"
"You don't look happy..."
"...heh. I forgot ya didn' know me before."
The song that would best describe their relationship is "Paralyzed" The Cardigans.
Mikey is Ava's personal advisor. He's a good balance of first movie, and 80's cartoon series. Ava percieves a lot of wisdom from Michelangelo, and the two of them have become close friends. Mikey's not jealous because he doesn't have Ava's romantic affections, he's jealous because Raph pays more attention to her sometimes, than his little brother. Both of them are extremely quick, and agile, and sometimes get compettitive. These are the most likely sparring partners to lose focus, and goof off during training, which often gets them a whack from Master Splinter's walking stick. Mikey was the most devastated by Ava's hostile kitchen takeover. Together, they are Ice-Cream Nexus champions! Ava sees Mikey as her little brother, and she's rather proud of his Battle Nexus victory. This pisses Raphael off to no end. Michelangelo is always looking out for Ava, worried about if she's hurt, or if she eats enough. Sometimes their rivalry causes them to fight. It's usually Ava who makes an effort to patch things between them.
"I'm serious! If you just listen to him, he makes sense!" the song that best describes their relationship would be "You Learn" Alanis Morissette.
Leonardo kept his distance at first. Ava looked up to him, and really wanted to impress him. While Leo was used to having brothers, he'd never had a sister before. He had no idea how to give her advice, and didn't even want to spar with her to avoid touching anything. Leonardo had a hard time accepting this actress (who was trained NOT to connect with an attack) as a warrior. When finally he gave in to her constant interest in his training, the two sparred for the first time. Wooden swords clashed, and Ava was knocked down again, and again. Each time, she got back up, and no matter how sore, or tired, she refused to give up.
"Ava, why are you doing this? Stay down...please."
"I know I can't win. I know I'll never reach your level, but if I don't try, I'll never learn."
"Ava...Don't say never...and WILL you stay down?"
"NEVER!...hehe oww!"
"Hehe..."
I'm fairly confident this was the exact moment Ava earned Leo's respect. it was a long time after that, that they sparred again. Leonardo cautiously used his actual swords at first, yet became more confident as a playful rat-girl began to whoop up on him unexpectedly in his caution. Ava sees Leo as her Big Brother, and while it's fun to test his patience, she respects, and accepts him as leader. This also pisses Raph off to no end...especially since she confessed that she agrees Leo's the best turtle for the job.
The song that best describes their relationship is "Aerials" System Of A Down.
Master Splinter excersizes extreme caution when dealing with Ava's emotions. As a student, and now daughter he treats her on equal terms (At least the equal terms he gives Mikey). Because of her addition to the sewerhold, he's become far more cunning and subtle in discipline. So cunning in fact, his five pupils don't seem to know they're being disciplined half the time (Although, that cane is NOT very subtle Master! T_T). Ava brings out some of the unexpected playfullness in Splinter. She's also quite convinced he knows EVERYTHING!
"He knows. He knows everything."
"Ava...I do not know everything."
"You do! You know every move we're going to make."
"You are being silly."
"He's just going to sit, and deny it, while sipping his tea."
"She seems to know every move I will make."
Ava has learned not to fear Master Splinter, holding a great deal of love and respect for the old rat.
The song that best describes their relationship is "Innervision" System of a Down
Casey Jones scared the everliving SHELL out of Ava at first. This version of Casey is heavily based on the insane, "Dirty Harry" 80's cartoon series, with some influence from the first movie. Casey however, took an immediate liking to...being able to scare the everliving shell out of Ava. I think the blatant flirting scared her more than anything. As Casey's visits became more frequent, Ava became used to having him around, and even found a sweet side to the masked maniac. Now, they're as close as Ava is with Michelangelo, and she misses him when he manages to escape and get back to his apartment for a while. Casey practically lives in the lair, on the couch, and when he needs something, Ava's more than happy to give it to him. Ava's leant Casey a hairbrush, blanket, pillows, her pants...on more than one occasion... and now due to a little fanart, a pink towel.
"You tryin' ta tell me you don't have a problem with your temper?"
"That's right Casey. I don't have a probl-"
"You didn't put holes in your own hands?"
"...to be fair, I didn't notice I was doing that."
The song that best describes their relationship is "high Hopes" by Pink Floyd
Our April is heavily based on the first movie April, with slight 80's cartoon series influences...as she is thrust into the world of Channel 6. Ava and April have a possible friendship in the works, but they have yet to become closer.
"So...not bad huh?"
"Mmm hmm...I mean...I do NOT like him! I mean...it's...Casey. Eww."
"Yes, but it's Casey all clean, and brushed, and he even left the mask at home. He's making an effort..."
"He did that for me?"
"Mmm hmm."
"Okay so...he's...hot. But it's still Casey...peering in my windows with a hockey mask at 3 in the morning Casey!!"
The song that best describes their relationship is "Closer" by NIN
Leatherhead was introduced to Ava at a much later time...because they thought a giant mutant crocodile might scare the **** out of her. However, NOTHING could have been further from the truth. Ava was immediately drawn to Leatherhead. Much to his surprise, this small creature has a lot of love for the big croc, and can usually be found perched on his head.
Ava met Miyamoto Usagi when she fled with an injured, and sedated Raphael to his dimension to escape Baxter Stockman. Though they've only met once, Ava and Usagi seem to get along fairly well...although things didn't start off that way. Ava thinks Usagi is extremely "cute" and loves his ears. Some people may misunderstand her intentions.
"Ninja feind! What have you done to my friend?"
"Nice sword...are you The Ronin?"
"Tell me what you have done to Raphael!"
"I didn't do this!"
"Ninja deceit! Why is he tied up?"
"...so he doesn't fall off the horse."
Usagi blinked, sheathing his sword. "...I am The Ronin."
Lisa is the name of a little girl Ava and Raphael found in an alleyway. She'd run away from home, because of a monster in her closet that her mother didn't believe her about. She could see it through the hole to closetland. Returning her home, to check out the hole in the closet floor. Ava and Raph discovered Baxter was occupying the apartment directly below, and called for backup. Since then, Baxter has not only used Lisa as a hostage, but he'd kidnapped her mother as well. The rooftop adjacent from Lisa's is one of the regular patrol stops. After Lisa telling Ava about the sad looking baby turtle at the pet store, Ava decided she was going to hook Lisa up with a turtle of her very own. Lisa named the little guy Raphael. He doesn't look sad anymore.
"I wasn't always like this you know."
"You weren't?"
"Nope. Once I was a little girl just like you."
"Does that mean one day I can grow up to be a Super Mouse too?"
Raphael paused...and laughed.
Unfortunately, Ava can't escape the fate of being judged by her appearance. A jealous, and posessive king wants her all for himself. Unlike Master Splinter, Ava can't consciously remember any of the time she's under The Rat King's control. This is definately a good thing. The song that best describes their relationship is "Phantom of the Opera".
Though she rarely shows it, Ava's temper is up to par with Raph, and Casey. This becomes most evident when someone she cares about is threatened. She tried to tear off an unconscious Baxter Stockman's wings for firing a laser blast that would have hit, and probably seriously injured Raphael (had she not jumped in the way). Unlike them, she's a bit more willing to listen to reason...which is why Leonardo was able to stop her "dishonorable" actions.
Another trait she shares with the grumpy young men, is the rash, and somewhat masochistic urge to use herself as a shield. Her hand claws, and whip she used as a human being were replaced with real claws, and a whip-like tail. Let's not forget those razor-like rat teeth. UNLIKE her friends, Ava will sometimes hesitate when sparring with Donatello. The others have taught her not to do this.
Her mutation (like most mutagen mutations) did increase her strength, but compared to the turtles, not many would notice.
Ava's extremely fast. Almost Splinter-fast.
Ava's combat strengths being her agility, and speed, she has an advantage at the dodge/grapple/throw thing. She works well with a partner, and as a weapon. Her flamboyant fighting style is influenced by Street Fighter's Cammy White, and Soul Blade/Edge/Calibur's Voldo. It's dance-like, and kinky. She was trained to be a showy fighter for the cameras. Only recently have Master Splinter, and the boys been an influnce. Here are some Ava-eque moves for ya.
Ava's finally decided to find her weapon. It's a search for me too! I kinda like the kunai...
Voldo
Cammy White, and her grapple/throws.
Ava's pretty good at archery. She could totally do this.
CATS is my favorite musical...and one of my favorite things on earth, just like TMNT. Naturally, it's always an inspiration to me and my characters in some way.
I love these two ^_^ I included this for obvious reasons.
Slinky!
Ava's prized treasures are her heart shaped pillows, her scrapbook, the Raphael plushie Mikey made for her, one "Jones" hockey jersey, a pair of welding goggles, and bits of red bandanas she keeps ending up with.
Some songs that best describe Ava are:
"Valentine" Shades Apart
"Plasticine" Placebo
"Superstar" Tegan and Sara
"All I Really Want" Alanis Morissette
Obviously, "Closer" by NIN is a joke. I really don't know. April and Ava aren't that close. They don't seem to click. Maybe Ava has too much common sense >.>...nah that couldn't be it.
