~ Online Gor ~
So many mixed thoughts and even emotions can come into play when talking about online Gor.  Gor, as we know it, is based on a series of science-fiction books written by John Norman.  It is, in fact, a fantasy world but many have taken the philosophies and ideals of Gor and lived their lives offline in a Gorean manner.  This, of course, has its limits because we live on Earth, not Gor.  Not to mention many things that were standard practices on Gor could never be standard practices on Earth because of laws and customs set solidly into place.  Online Gor, however, is another matter.

Here Gor is as varied and mixed as there are breeds of horses!  Some intermingle BDSM practices and a favorite of many is to role-play out the books in storylines between characters based on the novels themselves.  Some choose to strictly keep online Gor as a resource for conversation and discussions based on their real-life application and practices.  All are different and none are wrong.  Being Gorean can come in many shapes and forms but the root of all the love we share for this wild and mysterious world that has brought us all together.

Having said that, there are some standard practices that one may notice online that differ from the books themselves.  We call these cyberisms or online practices.  Some are standard, others are not.  In this section, cyn will attempt to share some of the things she has discovered in her journey through online Gor.
