I am a stay at home mother of three boys; ages 2 , 3 � , and 6. I love being a mother. I love being a wife. Taking care of my family and spending time with them is my favorite thing to do. Unfortunately, sometimes life gets hard and I just want to throw in the towel. Some days I feel like everything I said and did was a complete disaster. For example, I get over tired and take it out on my husband and kids; treating them with harsh actions and unkind words. Some days I feel an over whelming sense of failure and guilt from it. It�s then when I am quickly reminded that I am not perfect; but our heavenly savior, Jesus is. He is the perfect person to go to when I feel like I just can�t take anymore. He reminds me that I am His child, and that I am still learning how to be the mother and wife he wants me to be. He reminds me that He is shaping me and molding me for His perfect plan. Whenever I start to feel like I am losing it; I try to stop and pray immediately for guidance. When I seek the Lord in my times of trouble, He teaches and shows me ways to handle every situation. I can make it through my day without feeling like a total failure. When I go to bed at night, I find peace in knowing that I sought the Lord and did my absolute best to glorify Him throughout the day.
Dear Lord, thank you so much for being the perfect teacher. Please forgive me Lord when I fall short of your glory. Please teach me your ways Lord. Guide me in every thing I say and do Lord. Lead me down your path of righteousness. Amen
Psalm 25:4-6:
"Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my savior and my hope is in you all day long."
