| Story | A guy is in a strip-club, when some gothy dark angel girl in ragged white clothing comes in and scares the shit out of the guy. The guy runs and the angel chases. The guy gets cornered in an empty alley-way and the angel looms over him. She pulls a sword right out of his eye-socket, then stands-off with the Headless Angel. A black-and-white flashback interrupts of a girl who was minding her own business in her bedroom, when suddenly the Headless Angel comes right out of the wall to scare her shitless. The Headless angel opens up her chest and pulls a sword out. Break out of the flashback and we're back to the stand-off. The girl makes the first move with her sword but the Headless Angel strikes and stabs the sword right through her heart and out her back. She dies, the end. |

This story was originally going to be a part of my "Meaning Less 2", the follow-up to my "Meaning Less" animation, except this time, instead of the 2 acts running together, there would be a menu to choose either "Angels of Death" or "Dumbass" (It was a pretty cool menu too). So that's why the story doesn't make any sense. I think the only reason why I wanted to do it was because it would be a great exercise in animation, but it turns out I was wrong on that too because I FAILED. The screenshot you see above wasn't the actual design of the gothy angel, it was just for the prototype-version of the animation (which is only half-complete). I didn't actually have a design for her, I had an image of what she would be like in my head but I could never draw her (well maybe I could now but I don't want to anymore). She was inspired by a music-video I once saw, where a gothy-angel walked into a stripper bar and was harrassed by a bunch of guys, it was odd but kind of pleasurable to watch. I wanted to animate that and do a whole fucked up story..(I don't anymore though). The swords being pulled out of the bodies was inspired by X the Movie. I watched the second-half of the movie once before and I liked all the action and the imagery, but when I saw the movie in its whole (and I also watched the 25 episode series), it sucked ass. If the episodes were animated as well as the movie, and the movie was never made, then it would have been pretty cool. The Headless Angel was an idea I had for another story called "The Four Angels". Four angels from four different locations around the earth, with four different swords (one sword was actually a gun, I believe gun-play can be just as exciting as swordplay if used correctly), battle each other for four different reasons. Whoever wins decides the fate of Earth. I don't want to go into too much detail but one of the bad angels was "the Headless Angel", a fearsom headless dude who is pretty hard to kill. I also briefly mentioned "Dumbass" in the first paragraph. It's not listed in my anamography because I hadn't even started it. It was supposed to be "Jackass meats The Matrix", but I couldn't animate that thing where the text falls down the screen (I still can't figure it out), so I just gave up on it. It was a stupid idea to begin with. There is no way I'll be going back to this and try to finish it. It's a pointless story, it would have looked really stupid and would have made me look stupid. This is one of the few which I'm glad I put in my "discontinued" pile. |
