Grading requirements
Kyu Belt (color belts) Grading prerequisites
The following training times are the minimum waiting time to be graded to the next belt level. These requirements are usually for above average students. Most students should expect a longer period of time to be graded. As always, it's not really the training time that matters, it is if you are ready to be graded.
To Yellow belt (Roku-kyu)

-No less than 50 hours of training
-Must compete in one SWKKF tournament
-Pinan Shodan
To Orange belt (Go-kyu)

-No less than 50 hours of training
-Must compete in one SWKKF tournament
-Pinan Nidan and perfection of above
To Green belt (Yon-kyu)

-No less than 50 hours of training
-Must compete in two SWKKF tournament
-Pinan Sandan and perfection of above
To Blue belt (San-kyu)

-No less than 50 hours of training
-Must compete in two SWKKF tournament
-Pinan Yodan and perfection of above
To Brown belt (Ni-kyu)

-No less than 75 hours of training
-Must compete in two SWKKF tournament
-Pinan Godan and perfection of above
To Red belt (Ik-kyu)

-No less than 150 to 225 hours of training
-Must compete in two SWKKF tournament
-Kushanku and perfection of above
