FORMS OF HEART DISEASES
  There are different forms of heart diseases.  Some of the most common forms of heart diseases include:

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
- Is the condition discribed by abnormally high blood pressure especially arterial blood pressure.

HEART ATTACK
- This is the disorder in which damage to an area of the heart muscle occurs because of the inadequate supply of oxygen to that area.

STROKE
- Is a condition in which a sudden diminution or loss of consciousness, sensation and voluntary motion caused by rupture or obstruction (as by a clot) of an artery of the brain.

CORONARY HEART DISEASE
- Is an acute episode of heart disease due to insufficient blood supply to the heart muscles especially when caused by coronary thrombosis or occlusion.

ANGINA PECTORIS
- Is a disease marked by a brief paroxysmal attacks of chest pain precipitated by deficient oxygenation of the heart muscles.


   Of all the forms of heart disease, coronary heart disease is the number one killer.  Stroke is the number three and the leading cause of serious disability.
