Jefferson School meeting Feb. 5, 2002

Last night I went to the meeting in the Jefferson School auditorium.   The group was Preservation Jefferson.   I counted about fifty people.   Each one stood up and stated his or her name.

A former mayor and two candidates for Democratic nomination for city council were there.   One of my high school math teachers, Kenneth Martin, was there.   And my ninth grade English teacher, Ms. Bryant, was there.

They were discussing how to structure a commission to study what to do with Jefferson.   It was confusing and complicated.   I couldn't help day-dreaming.   I left early after an hour and a half.   I handed out 31 flyers for the time machine website.   I took 7 pictures for a time machine in the future to come back to Jefferson to that night.
