Michael Sutton turned 10 on July 2nd, 2002. Mikey sings and dances like Michael Jackson. He even dresses like him.
Mikey does it so much that his mother says he drives her "bananas".
Mikey was approved for a wish from Make A Wish Foundation. Mikey's wish was to meet Michael Jackson.
Make A Wish Foundation of Ohio said it could take 3 years for Mikey to meet MJ. By then Mikey could be blind.
So they took Mikey, his sister (Christina - 11), and their mother to Disney World in May.
Mikey still wants to meet Michael Jackson. Mikey sincerely loves Michael.
Here's your chance to get to know a little about Mikey.
Selena: When did you start singing and dancing?
Michael Sutton: I started at about age 5.
Selena: What got you interested in singing and dancing?
Michael Sutton: I started watching Michael Jackson videos. I love him and wanted to be like him.
Selena: What is it you like so much about it?
Michael Sutton: I like the expression. I can express myself through dancing and singing.
Selena: What else do you like to do?
Michael Sutton: I like to roller-skate, watch movies, go swimming, and play Michael Jackson.
Selena: Is there anything you'd like to say? Any subject.
Michael Sutton: I want to meet Michael Jackson.
Selena: I believe anyone can make a difference. What would you like to do to make the world better?
Michael Sutton: Someday I'd like to be like Michael Jackson and give to the less fortunate.
Selena: What are your goals?
Michael Sutton: I like to do the best I can do.
Selena: Why do you like Michael Jackson so much?
Michael Sutton: Because Michael Jackson is such a special person and he's somebody good to look up to. And his music rocks!
Selena: Just in case Michael Jackson is reading this what would you like to say to him?
Michael Sutton: I love you and want to meet you. And I want my mom and my Auntie Selena to meet you. I have a very high respect for you. And I want to be just like you when I grow up.
Selena: I don't want Christina to feel left out so Christina is there anything you'd like to say? Any subject.
Christina Sutton: I love my brother and I'd like to see all his dreams come true. I love my mom and I love my Auntie Selena. And I love N'SYNC!!
Selena: And Tammy would you like to say something? About your son, your daughter, or anything.
Tammy Sutton: I love my children very much. I'm proud of them both. I do hope Mikey's wish to meet Michael Jackson comes true because my child truly loves him with his whole heart. Mikey is a special kid and he has fought all his life and I know he will keep on fighting to overcome his medical problems. And I'd
like to say I respect the Jackson family especially Michael. I'm honored that my honorary sister interviewed my son.
