Appearance:

Of average height and relatively indifferent appearance, Alton is often overlooked by people. His hair is a two-foot long mess of tangles that he relentlessly brushes every day to no avail. He has an average body leaning toward a slim frame and is often found fretting over his eating habits, which he is convinced are making him fat. Vain in only the slightest way, his most attractive features are his golden eyes.

Personality Quirks:

Alton has been known to suffer long spells of depression triggered by something as simple as a licorice stick. For the most part he is a fun loving people person with an active mind, poor memory, and biting sarcastic wit. Schoolwork is of little importance to him although he does quite well with acceptable or slightly above-average grades. He has a love for travel and an impatient nature that gets him into trouble. A spontaneous person, he's the kind of guy that every group of friend calls upon when times are dull.

History:

Yont entered Penn. U. of Magic as a fifth year. He was born and raised by an entirely Muggle family, and began his magical studies in the Monsoon Conservatory in Pakistan because his parents were working in the country. When they died he was transferred here at the request of his new guardian, who lived in West Virginia. He had been around for only a couple of days when an owl arrived proclaiming that he was going to be taken in for questioning. As things turned out, Yont's guardian was under trial for murder. The case dragged on and Yont was forced to continue his schooling through a lengthy corresponding process. Miss Shumacker, his former guardian, was convicted and sent away. Having turned 17, the court emancipated him and released him from the trial. He returned to the school for his 6th term.
