Appearance:

Morris wears boots, light blue jeans, a delivery cap, a light green trench coat, and usually a t-shirt. He has touseled blond hair so light it's almost platinum, that can barely be combed and choses to stick up in every direction. If he forgets to take a shower for more than a week, some of the ends of his hairs join together in pointy little dreadlock-like tufts which are later impossible to disect and must be cut off. His nose is a little crooked, having been broken once.
He always stands tall. Morris is an average weight, a little bit short for his age, and has fair skin. He perpetually looks like he has taken a good punch to each eye because he always has dark rings around them. Sometimes the rings are less visible and sometimes they are more prominent.

Personality Quirks:

Morris really likes asparagas. If he had to chose one thing to eat for the rest of his life, that would be it. He'll order it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Then, he'll stuff some of it in his pockets and eat it later as a snack. He has a couple of theories about how one might make dried asparagas, and how it might taste, but hasn't taken any action so far.
Aside from bizarre food preferences, Morris has one other main personality quirk, and that would be his two-sided attitudes. Most of the time he is cheerful and laid-back, happy to play his guitar for a cute girl and the like. But as he's gotten older, a second face has made itself increasingly more evident. That second face is not laid-back, not charismatic, and not pleasant to be around. It ranges between "bad mood" and highly violent. This face, in actuality, is the "real" Henry Morris. His more likeable side is just a facade he puts on; the true him comes out when he's peeved or sometimes for no reason at all. He is well aware of his own ability to keep the fake him visible when he wants it there, but can't always control when the darker side will make an appearance. Sometimes this other side can be as little as a passing flicker in his eyes, but sometimes - if he lets it get to him - it can cause him to do damange he might have otherwise controlled. He thinks of the real him as "Henry," and his more popular half as "Morris."
Morris wants to become a rock star someday. Magic isn't his territory; he's not that smart, not good in school, and not great at magic. Being highly superstitious, he usually does well in Divinations, but struggles to pass his other classes. He is in constant threat of being stuck a year behind his classmates. If he were a rock star, though, he wouldn't need magic or school. He can play a mean guitar lick but is still in the learning process, as he only started playing a few years ago.
Having a hard time getting close to people, and not really liking it when other people are close to him, Morris spends most of his time either in group situations where he can be "in charge," or alone in his room with his guitar or writing poetry. Poetry is how he expresses some of his more violent, angrier feelings.
As a newly made millionaire, he doesn't really know what to do with the money.

Family Life:

The Morris family consists of parents Joanna and Lou Morris, and three children, of which Henry is the second. Joanna works at the regional Council division at the information desk and Lou is a mailman who spends his many off-hours watching football and drinking beer. The oldest child is Laura, who is a 7th year now at Henry's old school, and the youngest, Dorothy, will begin school in a year.
The family is relatively distant. Laura and Henry were once close, but she has changed her role in the family to that of protecting Dorothy, the littlest, from Henry's bad moods. Dorothy is scared of Henry.

History:

Henry Morris formerly attended a different magic school in Minneapolis, where his family lives. He hasn't told anyone why he was expelled.
Morris also recently won backstage passes over the radio to his favorite band, Bad Call. He went with his ex-girlfriend and backstage got to meet the Call's lead singer and guitarist, who ended up taking a great liking to Morris. After the show, he was invited by the singer/guitarist back to the man's hotel, and got to spend some time learning a few handy tricks from his idol. They didn't see each other again, but then over the summer a lawyer called Morris's house saying that the guitarist from Bad Call had died in a car accident and left his entire guitar collection to Morris in his will. The only person in his family who found out was Laura, but he bribed her with one of the guitars to keep quiet about it. He opened up a bank account and auctioned off all of the guitars, though he did keep one for himself, and sold his old guitar for a nice amp.
This is not the first time in Henry's life that this sort of thing has happened. He was born lucky (he was a premature baby who shouldn't have lived); he has an amazing ability to be in the right place, at the right time. It has made him a little cocky.

Fears:

Getting kicked out of Pennsylvania State, staying behind a grade, ending up a loser like his dad, and dying a virgin.

Hopes:

To buy a car, to pass school and never have to see his family again, to become a rock star.

Interests:

Guitar, concerts, smoking, experimenting with drinking, poetry, Divination, becoming independent.
