Appearance:

Short and boxy. She inherited her mothers strange, dark appearance in deep brown hair and wide muddy brown eyes, and her body is beginning to lose its baby fat and take on her mothers curves, something Adrian is perpetually entirely terrified of.
She has a round face, small feet, a small mouth, small ears and clean, small hands. Her attire, which once consisted of borrowed clothes out of her mother's closet, is now almost entirely heavy blacks and draping clothes. She won't leave her bedroom without heavy eyeliner as a mask to hide behind, mascara and black nail polish which she feels is a sort of shield protecting her. At school, she doesnt smile often, formerly because she had no confidence in her own charm, but at home it used to be hard to make her stop grinning.
Following Lucille's death, Adrian has taken to wearing sweatshirts with hoods covering her face, newly wet eyes and her sister's engagement ring.

Personality Quirks:

The biggest kink in Adrians personality is the overwhelming difference between how she acts when she is at school and at home. At school, she is most comfortable keeping quietly reserved and constantly undermines her own ability in academics and Quidditch (most of which arent great to start out with); she also tends to stay either in her room or in the places she must go such as the Court (for food) or classes (during which she sits in the back and tries to remind herself that shes secretly clever, and nobody has discovered it yet . . . not even herself). Adrian is probably the best scoring Chaser in Pennsylvania State University, but couldnt catch a Quaffle if her life depended on it.
Prior to the summer before her fifth year, at home she chattered more than Lucille, spent pent-up energy running around their palace-like home, and curled herself into small, dark spaces, and spent hours at a time inside them because she liked it there.
Adrian in her third year took up a determination to be bad, and was training herself to curse fluently like Lucille could. She congratulated herself for thinking drat! or crap! when it comes to mind on her own, and occasionally corrected herself in thought. She swore for the first time when Audric Dupree flustered her on Braddocks Paths and had since been itching to try again.
Despite their vast differences, Adrian's motivation prior to Lucille's death was the abstract comfort that occasionally Lucille approved of what she did. Without her older sister - whom she heartily adored for all the badmouthing - Adrian finds little purpose to her own living. She has taken to sleeping through most of the night and day and at the beginning of the year, she stupidly tried to channel her anger into picking a fight with Cyrus Anderson, but can't seem to put it to use in Quidditch (instead, her game is failing). Adrian took advantage of the fact that the Headmistress last year did not record her grades. This year, classes are equally difficult for her as they were two years ago, but she has at least gained a new focus she didn't have earlier. Since an accident over the summer, she is doubting Audric's faithfulness.

Family Life:

Adrian has lived her whole life in the ancient, run-down theatre her father keeps alive for sentiment's sake and spends most of her time at home running around its back passageways, exploring in between the walls and finding new rooms with Lucille. Their family played a fair amount of board games (which Lucille always won) and acted very much like a stereotypical, four-person family: They slept in on weekends, ate dinner together every night, and rarely invited guests over.
Since the murder, Adrian no longer spends that much time with her family. Her mother, Miriam Raevton, has closed the door on herself farther and is beginning to grow impatient easily, and sarcastic without any trace of humor. Adrian's father, Cale Raevton, took Lucille's death the hardest (the pair had been very close), and grieved over the summer. He was, for a while, attempting to patch his family back together. The forced conversations were very awkward, however, and Cale seems to have reached a point where dinnertime chatter is good enough for him; he doesn't press the need for communication anymore. He has personally managed to pick up his life and act normal, if strained, and is the only one in the family to do so.

Fears:

Formerly: Bats, Quaffles, Bludgers, the Robeless, people disliking her, Cyrus Anderson, her cousin Ellie Santavaj, dogs, spicy foods, the Hardings, nearly everyone in Rakin, Purebloods, Muggle-borns, professors, big empty places, floo powder, apparating, failing and airplanes.
Presently: Bats, Quaffles, Bludgers, Cyrus Anderson, Ellie Santavaj, dogs, professors, apparating, failing, and Audric finding someone better.

Hopes:

Adrian hopes that Cyrus is scared of her now that she's kicked his ass, that Audric is really still with her, and that shell pass all her classes. She also secretly hopes shes an undiscovered prodigy.

Interests:

She likes small, enclosed places, exploring her home, board games, Quidditch, and played soccer when she was younger. Adrian would sell her soul for good dark chocolate, and has an uncanny (and growing) fascination for the Dark Arts, which she would break her own arm before telling anyone about.

Talents:

Throwing Quaffles, scoring in Quidditch, flying (sometimes), Defense Against the Dark Arts (fueled by her love for the Dark Arts themselves), Potions, avoiding Cyrus when he tries to jinx her, making mistakes.

Her Dorm Room:

Her room looks plain. All she keeps in sight are her books, cloaks and broom. She got the broom at a garage sale and her mother enchanted it to fly.
