Appearance:

Adhara is fairly petite with sandy blonde hair- thats shes chopped at out of rebellion- and rather plain brown eyes. She used to own nothing but dresses and skirts until she could get her hands on some T-shirts and pants which she wears liberally now, often wearing secondhand clothes, ripped clothes and jean skirts with band t-shirts. She takes pride in the fact she looks more like her dead mother than her father or sister. She has a piercing on the left side of her mouth that she did herself with a group of friends.

Personality Quirks:

Adhara is quiet, but not in the shy sort of way. Her quiet stems from the fact she just isnt a very sociable person, and doesnt really like to be, or try to be. Shes very intelligent, but doesnt like to show it, preferring to keep her talents to herself in the back of the classroom. Shes still under the impression she doesnt really belong in the magical world and thinks theyve somehow made a mistake, despite the obvious magic she can perform.
Shes snappish always, and cold when she wants to be. She doesnt make a big effort to meet new people, but if they want to make an effort to be friends with her shell let it go- unless they annoy her endlessly. Often her friendships are sort of love/hate anyway, Ana being the perfect example of this.
Adhara regards boys with something like caution, as she doesn't know how to be 'a girl' around them. She finds they make better friends than boyfriends.

Family Life:

Adhara comes from a rather hard life amongst a rather large amount of money built up by her father. Her mother - a model - was killed in a car accident a year before attending Penn U. To add insult to injury, the death and controversy was widely spread throughout the States on television, saying her mother was under the influence the time of the crash, but she believes it was all a scam by her father.
Marcus Preece, her father, is the owner and founder of Preece Corp., a huge multi-million corporation in North America that produces some of the best technology in the world next to Japan.
She wasnt really spoken to by Marcus at all, and the only one she talked to around the house was her personal maid, Shandra.
Whenever her father was having an important business meeting in the house, or a gather of any kind, Adhara was sent to her room to wait until everyone had gone, with the lie that his daughter was a very sickly child.'

History:

After her parents' very public divorce, Adhara was sent to live with her mother, while Marie, her very well behaved sister, stayed with their father. After her mother's death, however, Adhara had to move back into the Preece mansion and was thereby treated like crap, especially after her magic began to show when she all but exploded a cabinet.
During the summer before her fifth year, Adhara was arrested and thrown in jail with her rich muggle friends (whom she doesn't like very much) for breaking and entering into a mansion near her home 'for kicks'. She knows it was stupid, and she doesn't overly want to hang out with those people again, but knows she will probably end up with them again. Adhara was in jail longer than her friends because her dad refused to pick her up, and in the end he sent her uncle to get her instead.
She was threatened with homeschool, but snuck out to come to Penn U when her father was out of the house.

Fears:

Rejection, finding out she isnt a witch after all, and having to go back to her dads.

Hopes:

To lock her sister away in a box and ship her to Africa while taking over her fathers empire - secretly she enjoys the wealth.

Interests:

Teasing her sister.

Her Dorm Room:

She doesnt own very much, so its fairly clean.
