Greg's Cake Bake Page...
Yes, as it seems, and over the years, I have been asked to bake/design cakes for friends and family memebers alike.  And for the most part, they have come out better than expected.  Below are just a few of the more recent cake designs.  Enjoy and come back soon for more updates...happy eating!
JEFF TURNS 40!  This was my latest creation.  A very simple present cake for my brother Jeff's 40th "surprise" birthday party.  The main layer was a white cake with the small present on top being a fudge cake.  The icing was butter cream.  All potions of this cake were 100% edible including the ribbin which was made out of...The letters and numbers where made from white chocolate...and the black and gold flowers were confectionary flowers painted with eatable paint.
DWIGHT RETIRES FROM PUBLIC WORKS: This cake was made for a co-employee that was retiring from the County.  He was a civil engineer that review plans for Storm Drainage compliance.  In this cake, I created a catch basin with a storm pipe and headwall which lead into a drainage swell.  There was also a silt fence around the basin with a walk over the swale. Everything was eatable except the backhoe it's based and the toothpicks holding up the silt fence.  The Rocks were M&M's...
ADAM VAN HART GRADUATES FROM OSU! This cake was very difficult for me to make.  Being the Michigan fan I am but it was fun nonetheless.  It did leave a bad taste in my mouth but I understand Adam loved it!  Everything except the graduation cap was edible.
FATHER SON CAKE BAKE #2: This was Brian and mine second year for this coveted event winning our second first place award.  Everything on this cake was edible.
FATHER SON CAKE BAKE #1: This was Brian and mine first year for this coveted event winning first place.  This was fun!.  Everything on this cake was edible.
Our Wedding Cake.  I did NOT make this one but we did design it and my brother Rob made the Jack and Sally cake topper...
