The visit to the New Orleans Zen Temple was certainly a new and different experiance for me. I have read about Zen in classes, but this was the first time I had been able to experiance it for myself. The entire experiance was very interesting to me. I was the only girl there the night I went, but when we were talking afterward it became evident that there were usually more female participents. The experiance of zazen was very cleansing for the body and soul. After the sitting, I felt more relaxed. I would like to thank Jeff Cantin for allowing me to come to the temple and experiance the practice of Zen. |
