Welcome to the Official Headache website. We are a DC Punk band and we are new. Here is the news as of today . . .

5/9/02 - Kind of a random update here, but I have nothing else to do. I just want to say that I will going to the Vans Warped Tour 2002 with such great punk bands like NOFX, Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, Hot Water Music, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc. Speaking of kick ass bands and the warped tour, there is Ozma. I just got their Cd "Rock and Roll Part 3" released on Kung-Fu Records and it's like punk mixed with Weezer mixed with a keyboard and just great music. For more info on Ozma, click
here. Also go to Verifco.com as often as possible because it is hilarious. Check out that shit.

5/4/02 - We kinda played today, not fucking really though because Samir didn't show up. Man, I just wrote a cool song called "Declaration of Independence" and maybe if Samir shows up we could finalize it and give it a Headache twist. I will post the lyrics quite soon. So, anyway, check out
Verifco.com, a hilarious site that I'm running with two friends that has funny news reports, jokes, and stuff. Keep checking on news for new recordings and what-not/

4/25/02 - New lyrics posted. Samir wrote some kick-ass lyrics and they will be used on a new song we wrote and by Saturday it will be recorded and perfect. You can check out the lyrics by clicking
here. Keep checking for more updates!

4/22/02 - Sorry about the lack of updates here in April, but nothing is going on. We haven't played together since the fourth, but we have written some kick-ass songs on our own (especially me) and are planning on playing this weekned. Some sad news in the music business is this: Lane Staley of Alice in Chains died in his Seattle apartment at the age of 34. He was found on Friday, April 19, 2002, but exact cause of death and time are still unknown (probly his heroin addiction). The band hadn't played publicly for a while because of Staley's continued drug use, but they're influence is amazing. They had kick-ass songs like "Man in the Box", "Them Bones", and "Rooster" just to name a few. R.I.P. Alice in Chains. For more info visit www.aliceinchains.net. Also, I bought the new Anti-Flag full-length "Mobilize" and it fucking rocks. It comes with a free 21 track A-F records sampler! To all punks - buy this shit!  For the taled about links click
here.Well, that's all of the news for now, check back later.

4/5/02 - We played together yesterday for the first time in a long time. It was a good practice - we wrote a sweet song, and are still fitting lyrics to it. When we get it recorded than you will be able to hear it in all of its beauty. We are still ardently working on our demo-tape / EP which our goal is to have it finished by like May or so (by the end of school). I've also done a shit-load of work on the website in general. I've finsished every page, so now there are no broken links. I've added a wallpaper in the downloads section as well as a sweet links layout and band info like bios and shit. Also, sign the god damn guestbook! It's run by Geocities, but it is still good. Keep checking back for updates.

3/30/02 - The band Involuntray Crappiness has broken up and this sux for two reasons. First, and most important they were amazing. They're guitar harmonies kicked ass and they're lyrics were amusing to say the least. Also, reason #2 is that we were probably going to play a gig with them in DC this summer, but now we can't considering they don't exist. They broke up because the lead singer and guitarist and song-writer said that the rest of band "wasn't serious enough.....this is what I want to do with my life." The band had been playing together for about 2 years, and Zach has moved on to play with an amazing band called Managers Special and they will play Involuntary Crappiness songs as well. More news and this is actually about Headache. I've uploaded new pics and what not onto the sites as well as a new wallpaper you can put on your computer and piss off your parents with.

3/28/02 - The launching of the official website began today. I'm working hard on the page and we are still working on our demo-tape / EP. It will be titled "Low Budget EP". Also, I just bought a cool Operation Ivy shirt which kicks ass. Use the menu above to navigate around the site. If you want older news go to:
