Head 2 Da Sky
Yeah! You've guessed it. EWF is the inspiration for my name. i've had it for over 8 or 9 years on the internet. The title alone has served as a chin raiser for me thru-out the years. Though i can't wrap my brain around the "Master" lyric, i can appreciate why they used it. i've written songs that have a "god" reference because it flowed better in the song than the term Most High, or Olodumare, or Olorun, or Anu, or Nyame, or Mungu, or Allah. So i figure, 4give them for the one indiscretion and move on. LOL.
It is key to be very clear that this is NOT a EWF tribute site. This is a site that reaches into the meaning, purpose and reason for keeping our heads to the sky. It is important to hold our heads facing Amenta (heaven). One of the ways We move from beLIEf and towards knowledge is to keep our focus on the Most High.
Head 2 da Sky makes me think of the fact that it questions the humility of One who seeks the grace of the Most High. While, simultaneously, blessings that fall from Amenta are best received when they warm the face. Intriguing thought. Also, keeping One's head to the sky when you are oppressed, indoctrinated, amalgamated, assimulated, a-culturated, inferiorized, dychotomized, and suffering from mentacide, genocide, capitalism, demon-crazy (democracy), IS the ONLY option! To look down would be like admitting defeat and submission. Few reasons are greater motivations for Keeping One's Head 2 Da Sky!
