About the Artist
   Tobbie Davis
Tobbie is a  joyful single woman in her fifties.  As a child and young teen she always liked to draw and create, but she was never encouraged by her parents to pursue this talent. It was only in her mid thirties she began to realize her artistic abilities were a gift from the Lord and she began to paint, and it has only been in the last few years that she has  pursued this gifting in it's many forms.

She has a complex and checkered history that she has released to the Lord Jesus to use for His glory. As a child she had  religeous training from the Church of Christ denomination amd fled from that as a teenager. But, at 32 she accepted the salvation of Jesus Christ through the Baptist denomination and started the most wonderful journey of her life. And yet, as she matured in her faith she became weary of church politics and the dry labors she was involved in.

Her heart cry became , "Lord, if I'm to have the abundant life in this age, then where is it? If I'm supposed to run and not be weary , then why am I so tired? If I'm supposed to be filled with rivers of living water and joy, then why do I feel so dry and empty?"  She longed for a more initimate relationship with the Lord, and true to His Word to fill those who hunger & thirst after Him, at 39 while attending a non denominational conference, she recieved the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tounges. Tobbie also recieved a fresh anointing of the Joy of the Lord and  believes that  is when she recieved the call to use her art to glorify Jesus. And she has been following hard after the Lord ever since.
