I have over 30 years experience, providing individual, couple, family and group therapy. I received my Master of Social Work degree in 1976 from the University of Toronto, and later became a Clinical Member of the American and Ontario Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. In the early part of my career, I became involved in Gestalt Therapy for approximately three years. Later I moved into Psychodrama, where I became an Associate Director of Psychodrama.
Since the late 80's my curiosity lead me into the area of family therapy. I began training with David Keith M.D., a co-developer of Symbolic-Experiential Family Therapy, along with Carl Whitaker M.D. Recently published book entitled Clinical Dialogues in Family Therapy: Based on the Psychotherapy of Carl Whitaker M.D. and David Keith M.D.A second book entitled 'When A Family Considers Therapy:A Trip Down The Yellow Brick Road'was released in May/2006.
I have been married for 32 years, and have two adult children, our married daughter, age 28, with a wonderful husband and son-in-law, and our son age 25. My wife and myself live in Newmarket, Ontario, and I enjoy such hobbies as playing guitar/banjo, tennis, magic, and finding humour in life.
