Livin' It Up in LV - 2002

The MGM Grand
FYI - Bad news everyone, tripod.com (stupiT site) has terminated my account without warning and will not reinstate me, or tell me why I have been deleted. Along with the termination of my account, I've lost all the work I've done on the 'Real World - Las Vegas 2002' page (everything is all gone). I've listed the possible reasons why my site was terminated below...you be the judge and decide which one it was cause I have no idea. WHEN I get the new page up and running again, I'll post the link here, right now I'm in the process of looking for new 'free' web servers (if you know any good ones -> 20mb or more cause I have lots of picures, drop me an
E-Mail.) Thanks!
Remote loading - Using a Tripod or Angelfire Basic account for the sole purpose of storing files for use on another Web site or for backup purposes. Ok, to explain this one without being too technical...you need to have an 'index page' on the account, which is the default homepage. I didn't have this, so it may have appeared that I was remote loading for this Geocities page.
Pornography - Displaying content on a Tripod or Angelfire site that may be considered pornographic, including images that depict nudity. Many may have already heard (or should I say 'seen') the pictures of a certain person on my MGM pool page...I don't think I need to say any more on that topic.
SPAM - Using a Tripod or Angelfire account to advertise a product or service via unsolicited bulk e-mail. This wasn't an issue on the 'Real World' page because I wasn't sending any bulk e-mails...any any e-mails at all for that matter.
Piracy - Storing, linking to, or providing the serial number for, copyrighted software. This includes linking to hacking/cracking sites. Nope, no piracy on the 'RW' page either...unless anyone viewed the source codes for my HTML (Just Playin'!).
Hacking - Linking, explaining, or demonstrating how to hack into software or computer systems. I don't even know how to do this, so there's no way I could teach anyone else how to do this!
Fraud - Collecting information from a visitor by misrepresenting the authenticity of a site.Did I collect anything from you guys? No, I didn't think so...but just so you know, monetary donations are being accepted!
No Banner - Altering a Tripod or Angelfire page to prevent the display of banner ads. Yeah, uhm, we all know that I didn't alter this one, although I wished I could...that StupiT tripod banner was such a pain!
Copyright Infringement - Using copyrighted material on a Tripod or Angelfire page without the permission of the owner of the copyright.OK, this may have been the one that got me (but I'll never know for sure...it could have been that 'pornography' one for all I know!). I took some pictures from various sites w/o referencing where they came from (Oops, my bad - come on now, did you really think my camera took all those awesome scenery pictures??). I also linked to some pretty big sites without permission either, for example the MGM hotel, NY-NY hotel, and the Tropicana (there would have been more to list, but I never finished my page!). If anyone knows the law on this one...let me know for future reference...thanks in advance!
Invalid File Extentions - All files located in your member directory must have a valid file extension. Files that do not have a file extension will cause the account to be terminated. Examples: Invalid: "my_dog" Valid: "my_dog.html" I can pretty much tell you for a fact that it wasn't this one...I know how to name files. Go ahead ask me..."mgmpool.html" Yeah, trust me, it definetly wasn't this one!
